I wish I could give this company ZERO stars! Throughout our 1.5 year lease there were many issues; minor and major. While Ali was generally nice, we had to text and call her too many times in order to get problems fixed. The first issue occurred the first week we moved in; the ceiling paint bubbled and fell off in a few places. Even after telling Ali and maintenance multiple times, it was never fixed. More issues soon followed. After unpacking, our closet units kept falling down and maintenance would come "fix" them and they would fall again. My husband had to fix them himself and then they finally stayed up! Additionally, we were promised a functioning backyard upon move in (Feb) and it was not even started until Aug/Sep only after all of the building tenants messaged Ali for months. There was also never proper lawn care, all 3 apartment tenants had to message Ali with pictures and complain for weeks that the lawn was overgrown and they finally sent someone to mow/clean it. Moreover, there was mold by the main back door, spiders everywhere, rats running throughout the building through all 3 apartments which we had to take care of ourselves for months before maintenance finally came to close a hole in the basement…Additionally, because we were paying egregious rent we mistakenly expected that us and our chattels would be safe, but my husband's car was broken into IN OUR DRIVEWAY and so was our neighbors car and when I told Ali to put signs and a camera she said yes and never did. The storm door to the house also didn't lock and granted anyone access to our house as the basement door wasn't a functioning one so we never felt safe!

Five months before our original lease was set to end PL re-listed our apartment and told us they were starting showings (while there was a covid surge in the area) without even asking if we wanted to renew our lease. After signing a 3 month extension and then making a "deal" with Ali to stay an extra month, we had told her to keep our security deposit as last months rent and she suddenly became RUDE and NASTY threatening a lawsuit. They wanted to take extra money from our security after raising our rent for the extra month without our knowledge or acceptance of such (ILLEGAL). After we moved out, they did an inspection and Ali had Eli email us the report and photos and a vague explanation of why they STOLE $682 - an exorbitant amount for removal of garbage ($240) from our security deposit for garbage, a full repaint of the apartment to cover the normal wear and tear from hung pictures (covered in the lease - ILLEGAL.) They also stated they were going to mail a check with the remainder of the deposit to an address we provided, and we have yet to receive it and have been waiting for a response to our email follow ups since the end of June. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM! They have a tenants union against them for a reason…STEAR CLEAR.
