The company has nice equipment and the intracoastal views are beautiful. It is not convenient through this company though. You have to pay to park, wait to sign a bunch of forms, then get the equipment and drive it to another beach and pay to park again. If you rent paddle board equipment from them you cannot put it in the beach in front of their store and need to park you car again at another beach and carry the equipment there. Not super convenient. Or if they put the paddle board in the water for you then they charge you money for that too. And if you buy a Living Social coupon, it does NOT include putting the boards in the water so you are actually better off buying a groupon from a vendor who has a more convenient set up and quotes all prices upfront.

I had great experiences with Groupon so far. The vendors were flexible, they honored their commitments and customer service was on the ball with any requests.

My sister and I bought coupons for paddle boarding and were so excited to use them. We were disappointed that the vendor Sunrise Paddleboards had a kind of slimey practice of slapping on undisclosed charges to put the paddle boards in the water. It wasn't mentioned anywhere in the fine print and definitely wasn't discussed when we talked with Diane on the phone. So we wrote to Living Social to tell them how icky it felt. I said that if it was the paddle board company's unethical practice, please be informed that it left a bad taste in our mouths. I said that if it was encouraged by Living Social for vendors to to add on undisclosed fees then please remove my name from their mailing list... guess what Living Social did... they sent me an email saying that I was removed from their mailing list! No other response. What a riot! So they endorse vendors bait and switching customers! Did they even read my email? So Funny! That's my first and last Living Social experience.
