If you're a reasonably attractive white dude, it will be a good ego boost & will obviously be an even bigger benefit if you travel there. Other than that, it's kind of pointless & it certainly helps to know a little Spanish since many users don't know more than a few words in English.

Just a procrastination tool. It's fun if you don't take it too seriously & keep your expectations low. If you're good-looking white dude from the US, it will certainly be a good ego boost since you will be getting a boatload of "likes" and matches from hot foreigners from South America, Asia, Africa, Dominican Republic, etc. I'm going to assume that +10,000 "likes" is a lot for a man?

If you travel internationally on a regular basis, I'm sure OkCupid would be a 5.

A once great fan site ruined by a forum called BTX (Backstreets Ticket Exchange) that consists of snarky, entitled crybabies (most users are +50 years old, I might add) who are rarely satisfied with Bruce Springsteen's choices (concert set lists for the most part) and a capricious moderator named Flynn who runs the forum with an iron fist. I suppose when you look like the caricature of a balding nerd (he looks like titular character from the Steve James documentary film called "Stevie"), you're very inclined to get drunk with power by clicking a button when you're pretty much a total nobody outside of the internet.

So, avoid it if you're prone to getting headaches from all the eye-rolling & drama from geriatrics.

Between 2012-2016... Tinder was once fun to use and I apologize to those that never got the chance to use during those golden years.

It's obviously become a pay-to-play app and the creators did something weird w/ the algorithm that keeps women from seeing your profile unless you're a paid subscriber (a lot of money, I might add which I'm not dumb enough to give out).

So for free users... you could be a spitting image of a young Paul Newman w/ professionally-shot portraits & you're still unlikely to get more than 7 right swipes within one week. Just stick to the real world to meet women, handsome fellas!

It's a good site to visit if you want to get news on upcoming Blu-Ray releases (especially the Criterion Collection every month), but it's unfortunately marred by a very snarky forum w/ moderators that are practically the equivalent to what the Brownshirts were in Nazi Germany. They really don't have a tolerance for disagreements and you have to walk on eggshells. One single post can get you banned.

I guess they have to find a way to feel a semblance of power because they're likely unattractive losers in real life that can't get laid...
