Home Depot used to be my favorite store. I even worked at one in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Funny thing is, the rot has just grown. Now, as a customer, I am being told that "all managers are in a meeting", and all associates are trained in "other" areas, so all they can do is tell me to find a manager (and there never is one). I took $3000 cash with me today...third day in a row when I go to store just to be ignored and referred to another person. I ended up buying cheap vinyl vertical blinds, just to keep me happy until I now go to Lowe's to get help with 3 ceiling fans, 2 bathroom fan/lights, and window treatments for 5 rooms. I am now waiting for call back from "main manager" after a call with corporate, but I don't even "buy" your stories and lies. Why am I going to buy your $#*!ty, unwarrantied crap? I guess I need to finally go meet LOWES. I am also contacting LOWES with this same Home Depot complaint. I certainly had 3 crappy days in a row with you, now I am just done with you. You suck.
Tip for consumers:
I know things have changed since what is called "covid", but really, Home Depot....are any of you employees high school or college educated? Do they know ANYthing about your store, other than to keep the managers "hidden"? When I worked at Santa Fe, NM, Home Depot, we were all told to say "managers are in a conference or meeting". At least you are consistent, I give you that. But I don't need consistency, I need help purchasing your products!!!!! Please watch Simon Sinek before you die as a CORP

I ended up buying cheapest stuff I could get without assistance, and deciding to improve my home at either Ace Hardware or Lowes. At least you have been a stable company, meaning no improvements geared towards customers AT ALL COST!!
