I was searching on Youtube looking for a reputable hair company to purchase from, and someone has mentioned LUMA Premium Hair Collection. I ordered the East Asian Loose Wave bundles (18, 20, 20) and was super excited because I was supporting a black-owned company. I was getting the hair professionally installed and took the hair prior to my appointment to have it dyed for the summer season. When the hair initially arrived it was branded and packaged nice, so I was alarmed when my stylist called me to tell me that the hair, a) Is not virgin hair and b) the hair had already been colored and would not lift to actually take the color that she was trying to dye it. I am a Travel and Style Content Creator and had a special brand trip coming up, so I reached out to them first to see how they could fix the problem. They replied quickly and gave me the option to either, a) get a full refund or b) try their new raw Cambodian body wave (22, 22, 22) that had not been released on their website yet.

Unfotunelty, I decided to give them another shot and once again support a black-owned business and have them overnight ship it to me. I had made my hair appointment over a month ago and was freaking out because my stylist had recommended not using the hair for my install, basically leaving me stranded with no hairstyle right before my trip, so when I contacted them they said if they did the overnight, it would get to me the morning of my appointment right in time for the install (cutting it very close). Immediately after the install, the hair started to shed and tangle so bad to the point that I had to cut the install out. I sent Luma photos of the hair and the condition and dead silence. They never responded which shows how terrible their customer service is and tells you that they know that their hair is awful. It's honestly worse than Aliexpress and the whole company is a scam. Do not order from them.
