Hello, my name is Erica, I own Lovesail.com. I've been running it for 8 years now, it's been established since 2004. Yes Steve F is right. We are not a free site but we don't claim to be. We explain how we operate on the About Us page (find it at the bottom of our home page). Anyone can read it even non-members. We have a website that is full of genuine sailing enthusiasts. We achieve this by charging a membership fee. Profiles are monitored and checked by hand and anyone that is not genuine gets deleted. We can tell which ones are not genuine, we've been doing this a long time. We think our prices are very reasonable, considering our costs, and especially when compared to other dating sites. We don't use recurring payments, we think they are unfair. We even have a lifetime membership so members can take their time looking for the right one. It also allows them to stay on the site for friendships and crewing opportunities. If you are looking to meet a friendly community of sailing enthusiasts from all around the globe then you will find that at Lovesail. If you are looking for a free holiday on a yacht, you're in the wrong place. Thank you.
