I ordered a Travelpro 22" pilot roller board through the internet on Monday morning before noon, their shipping cut off time. I had called first and they confirmed they had it in stock and it would ship out same day. So I ordered but i never received shipping confirmation. So I called Tuesday and they said I must have missed the shipping cut-off (I didn't.). In the mean time, I noticed another store sold the same bag for $25.00 less, so I asked them to match the price which they do have a price guarantee. At the end of Tuesday it still hadn't shipped. I called Wednesday and they said it was held up a day because "a different department had to do the price adjustment. They said it would ship by end of Wed. Wed night it still never shipped. I called Thursday and they said the same thing that they were still waiting for a different department but he'd escalate it and it would go out by end of Thursday. I called late Thursday and got the same runaround when it didn't ship. So I cancelled the order.
By the way, I ordered it Thurs night from the company that offered it for a lower price, and by Friday morning I had a shipping confirmation with a tracking number.
My feeling is once I asked for the price adjustment, they were probably just stalling until I cancelled so they didn't have to honor their low price guarantee. It wasn't until later that I looked up the company and saw they had very bad ratings from other people too. Now it all makes sense! Buyers beware.
