I find Travellers Point a really handy tool for planning an itinerary. You can work out where you are going to travel and the distances that you'll be travelling each day.
Unfortunately it's not quite such a handy tool when you are actually on your road trip.
First of all there is no app so you can only open it in a web browser on your phone.
Secondly, when you are driving along on your holiday and you open Travellers Point, you can see where you are meant to be heading for that day but that is it. You cannot actually click on the destination for the day and get it to open in Google/Apple Maps and provide you with directions. You actually have to type this information in so from this perspective it is reasonably useless as a travel planning tool.
