I've been buying from EBTH for two years having made my first purchase in June of 2016. I purchased enough items to have spent literally (and stupidly) thousands. When many of the items were damaged and the claims became ridiculously difficult and I did not receive any compensation, I stopped my addiction to the auction style and left them in November that same year. One of the emails received from them indicated that they did not have all the kinks ironed out and some of the packing services were poor. However they did have my money and frankly I sometimes paid a lot more than the items were worth due to the bidding. I was sucked back in in March of this year and thought things were better until I received an item that was listed in good condition and later found out that it was broken in an obscure place that I may not have found out had I not seen the same item and noticed the difference. EBTH refused any sort of compensation because the time was over their designated 30 days (The item was delivered on May 12 and I put in the email claim on July 2). The idea that they would not compensate a customer who had spent thousands for an item that was just over $100.00 is ludicrous. Again, you have no way of seeing what you're bidding on so beware. As I review the pics of my purchase at the website, I see that they did not really take a photo from the angle that would have shown the damage. I will stop purchasing once again and close my account never to look back. I'll stick with Ebay if I want to spend money - at least they have checks and balances in place and years of experience.
