There is something definitely wrong with this company. I placed an order on 9/22/13. Not until I got a confirmation did I find out it was backordered. I would have liked to known that at the time the order was placed! I also had a memo when I received confirmation that said, Be careful! This sender failed our fraud detection checks. That is suspect in itself and especially after reading the other reviews. I emailed my concerns on 9/26/13 and to this day no one has addressed my email even though the website said you can expect to receive a response usually within 24 hours. I called later that day and got a recording from a man I could barely understand saying they were closed till 9/27/2013. What kind of online business closes? I called 2 weeks ago and then again today. It has been 13 business days. My order has still not come into there facility. I talked to the same girl both times. It is funny that she seemed not to care either way if I cancelled my order, so I did. I find it hard to believe that a company does such poor planning as to have merchandise get this low. I just wondered if the president of this company knows or cares how this business is conducting itself. I placed an order for the same merchandise on the website Her Room on 10/5/13 and received confirmation on 10/7/13 that it was shipping. I will definitely be dealing with them from now on. Hosiery Street does have a professional website, but looks can be deceiving. Be very careful. I am printing all correspondence with this company and am getting a new credit card. Just does not seem on the up and up.
