I started petsitting and housesitting with Trustedhousesitters about 5 years ago. I'm retired and love to travel, and I miss my pets when I do. TH has allowed me to have a real home to live in, instead of just a hostel or hotel room, and have the companionship of pets while doing it. I've shared this website with so many pet owners who have never heard of TH, which amazes me. They get the benefit of not having to put their pet in a kennel, or have a neighbor stop by for only a short time daily. Most owners love having their pet have the full-time attention of a sitter when they are gone, and the security of knowing their home is occupied during their vacation.
