I had a terrible experience with this company. This a cookie cutter PR "company" that has little actual public reach, commits the same PR errors that are warned about in blogs on their own website, cares nothing about their results, and takes no accountability for their performance as a PR firm; leaving any displeased customer with a repeated citing of their "No Guarantees" excuse. They actually put "No Guarantees" and "No Refunds" in their Terms of Service. It seems to me that any company that puts "No Refunds" in their Terms of Service is fairly arrogant to assume that their service is flawless and there would Never be any reason to refund a customer's money; RUN!

Here's the bottom line. Howard, the owner, assured me that crowdfundbuzz was a good match for my campaign, a proposal for a US Tour of a Performance Art show with a funding goal of $80,000. A basic PR assessment reveals that, with the most common donation amount of $25, it would take 3,200 backers to reach my funding goal. Considering an average conversion rate of 10%, it would require about 32,000 clicks to have a reasonable chance of my campaign succeeding. In the end, crowdfundbuzz generated a whopping 412 clicks; not even 2% of the clicks necessary to provide some assurance of our success. These guys can and will say whatever they think will get you to use their service, but, in the end, they are unconcerned with their performance, though happy to take your money.

Don't be fooled by the successful crowdfunding campaigns this company has "assisted". After the results I witnessed, I am fairly sure that most of these examples would have achieved their goal without the aid of crowdfundbuzz. To provide some detail, take note of the 30,000 + people they claim to reach daily through social media (facebook, twitter, etc.); however, they are likely reaching the same accounts daily, the profiles are inauthentic, and/ or the people are disinterested in their posts and tweets. The primary other "service" they provide is to send a PR release about your campaign to many online media sources; however, they send it to the Financial/ Markets section of their list of online news publications, which hardly anyone reads, and even fewer read this section looking for a crowdfunding campaign to support.

I did not expect nor insist that they make my campaign successful, but I do expect a crowdfunding PR firm to generate plenty of online traffic and clicks to my campaign page; especially if they claim to be a "good match" for my campaign. Be very cautious. These guys can and will say anything to convince you that they are a good match for your crowdfund proposal, but they will balk at any dissatisfaction with their performance and cite their "No Guarantees" motto to you endlessly. Be wary of any crowdfunding PR service; especially this one. If you want any assurance, get a minimum number of clicks or web traffic in a contract before paying for such a "service". Good Luck-
