I contacted the online company Greenfield Pocket Bullies to purchase an adorable puppy named Bane on Tuesday, Aug 2,2022. A gentleman contacted me on Wednesday inquiring if I still wanted the puppy and sent me the initial documents which included I for all money that would need to change hands and also when. I checked reviews online looking for a scam and I couldn't find one associated with them so I felt they were trustworthy.

I initially wanted to pick up the puppy but I am a disabled veteran and unable to travel. They quoted me a fair shipping cost. I agreed and paid the full amount of $1285 ($800 for the puppy and $485 for the shipping). I sent two different Zelle transactions. One for the purchase of the puppy and the second to cover shipping.

Everything seemed to be in order until it came time to ship the puppy. The morning they were supposed to ship the dog (5 Aug 2022) the shipping company (Prime Airways Logistics (USA)) emailed me and stated that I had to get insurance in the amount of $1600 to cover the puppy. I stated that I was never informed of this and they needed to contact the breeder. I decided to purchase insurance through a separate company online (Spot Pet Insurance).

They began hounding me via text and email to send the money. They claimed $1500 of the $1600 was refundable. I contacted the shipper and he told me to contact his wife. After several hours and the puppy's missed departure time, I informed him I would not pay any additional money and I would like to pick up the puppy. His wife then offered to pay half of the shipping if I would reimburse her the half she paid… that's when I knew I was being scammed for certain.

I notified the breeder that I have the insurance but I wanted to cancel shipping and pick up the dog. His wife stated " We don't have an option because the are aware then puppy has no insurance and i know you haven't register the puppy yet for your insurance "

I promptly emailed her the confirmation from Spot that I received hours ago as soon as I was informed the puppy needed insurance.

They refused to allow me to pick up the puppy and they refuse to refund my money and have since claimed I am defaming them.

I have screenshots of all our conversations and I plan on contacting the authorities.

Please beware of Greenfield Pocket Bullies. They are not honest people. They will take your money, send you photos and videos but there are no dogs. When you try to pick up your dog they have a bunch of excuses why you can't.

They are scammers and I will be pursing legal action against them.

I can produce screenshots and emails to prove everything I have said is true. Don't trust these people.

Tip for consumers:
Beware!!! They are scammers and they will steal your money. They have no dogs.

Products used:
None. They have no dogs to sell.
