I purchased (online) from Ink Station a set of 4 toner cartridges for my Samsung CLX-6200FX printer in September 2021 (for $203). The packaging and cartridges indicated that they are compatible with my printer. When I tried to install them in December 2022, the printer did not recognise them. An inspection showed that the dimensions of the electrical contacts on the chips (on the cartridges) were substantially different from those on my existing cartridges, so there was no way that they could "mate" with the printer's contacts. Ink Station refused to refund or replace these incompatible cartridges, on the basis that the 12 month warranty period had expired. I pointed out that they had a legal obligation to refund/replace, because the cartridges were clearly not fit for purpose at any time. The attached photo shows one of Ink Station's incompatible cartridges with a chip removed from a compatible cartridge above it.
