The site claimed to offer free resumes so I created one only to find out when I went to print it that it would cost $1.95. Since I had spent the time to make it and the price wasn't that much I went ahead and payed. The surprise came 2 weeks later when my account was charged $39.80 for a subscription I was unaware I had signed up for. I cancelled the subscription immediately and asked for a refund of the $39.80. They cancelled the subscription but it remains to be seen if I will get my money back. If not that was a very expensive resume.
Dear Thomas,
Thanks for your comments.
Thomas, we take great care in letting our customers know what they are subscribing to, as well as providing the many ways in which they can cancel if they don’t want the service to auto-renew at our monthly subscription. Our prices and policies are clearly stated on our subscription sales page and on the email confirmation that we send upon purchase, which includes the amount that you have signed up for and the auto-renewal date.
You can always contact us to follow up, our customer service center(which is open 18 hours a day, 7 days a week), or by live chat or by e-mail to customerservice@livecareer.com.
Best Regards,
LiveCareer
