This review relates solely to one issue with Quicken and Citibank: the inability of Quicken to download transactions from Citibank accounts. Overall, Quicken is an excellent financial software that I have used successfully for many years. But for the past few months, Quicken lost the ability to download transactions from Citibank and it has been unable to work with Citibank to fix the issue. When I contact Quicken, they say to contact Citibank. When I contact Citibank, they say to contact Quicken. This is very frustrating for Quicken customers who have accounts at Citibank, and it negates the convenience of using Quicken software in conjunction with Citibank accounts. It appears that Quicken and Citibank have not been sufficiently motivated to find a solution to the problem which is disappointing. Quicken and Citibank have not explained to me why there is a problem. The only hint given by Quicken is that Citibank has a new authentication procedure that Quicken cannot handle. That sounds like a software design issue that, with proper motivation, should be fixable if the two businesses can work together to address it. So, Quicken and Citibank, please get on with it. Your customers are getting upset at the lack of progress.
