"The Road Back To Me" Written by Award winning Author Lisa A Romano

I could not put this book down after opening the front page and reading the introduction.
I was absolutely entranced by Lisa's wisdom and elegant way with words.
One day later and I simply had to finish reading it to the very end.

There is an air of pure insight and honesty residing within each chapter as Lisa delivers her words to the reader so delicately and carefully so as to protect the integrity of not only herself, but those people she cares so deeply about and who have played an integral part in her life and added to her experiences.

Lisa's delightful way with words express not only a challenged childhood, but the repercussions it can cause alongside the scars and bruises silently left behind on the inside, which, will inevitably surface one day and scream out loud for help and for attention.

As I sailed through each experience she so beautifully described on each page of her book, it was like standing tall and holding tight onto the reigns of the sea-dragon with each chapter depicting yet another familiar wave upon a troubled sea that I too had learned to navigate throughout my youth.

I understood Lisa's journey so well, at times I felt tears well up within me and my heart ached with an empathic hug for that little girl who felt so very alone in her suffering and yet, through it all, as a reader I saw her emerge just like a butterfly, not just in certain parts of her life as she lovingly describes herself, but as the queen of all the butterflies ready to display all the colours of the rainbow and light up like a beacon with her iridescent wings of innate wisdom and one who was just waiting to unfurl them and show the world in quiet beauty and gentle grace that there is a brighter and much deeper perspective that we can all achieve in life no matter how dark and grey our palette may have seemed to be.

Lisa is a wonderful life coach, poet and an incredibly gifted writer who has grown her own garden of knowledge through her own unique life experiences and now shares these jewels with anyone who may like to discover for themselves a better way of seeing things why we are as we are.

After reading her book, I found all it takes is a gentle nudge in the right direction down a new garden path to a place where your hearts eye is opened up and you can see things a bit more clearly and maybe stop for a while and smell the roses.

Lisa proves that sometimes roses do bloom despite the toxic weeds that occupy the garden they are planted in and they manage to thrive and grow stronger than anything else, sculpting their own roots of wisdom deep into the soil where they can fuse boldly and bravely to design new foundations for all subsequent rosebuds to blossom into life.
