I made the mistake of ordering a knife sharpener through these people. "Special Deal... $80 or some such thing - reduced to $27" etc. After much delay, a dilapidated box arrived containing a machine that made a lot of noise but achieved nothing. A search of the box failed to reveal the manufacturing company or the country of origin. A search of the Living Social website also turned up a big fat zero when looking for a contact point to make a complaint. Not a deal... a rip off. Needless to say, I am now unsubscribed. I have also warned the girl who put me on to them and asked her to pass on the message. These sort of people give internet buying a bad name.
