Scam listings - agents waste your time. I followed up on a craigslist ad for a posting. A person replied and after some limited communication we decided to set up a meeting at 2pm for this person to show me the apt in FiDi. I asked twice in the course of our e-communication for this persons phone number and name. They avoided answering. I figured the apt is 15 mins away so I'll just give it a shot and head over. I get there and Its an office of 'Rent Own Sell' - someone lets me in but has no idea who is supposed to meet me. I'm sitting in a waiting room for 10 mins and no agents have come to explain why I'm there and not looking at an apt. I got no name, no phone number and I'm sitting in this shoddy office - Would you blame me for being sketched out? I waited for 10 mins and realized I prob got tricked and left. I was always warned about these scammy FiDi listings well I learned my lesson - consider yourself warned.
