"Happy Talk," that is basicly and only thing your payments reliably provide.
Every interaction seems to be designes to be made more difficult than necessary. If you like talking to computers, this is a good place for you! Even the FAQ number sends you to a telephone tree that has no germaine "selection" for the issue that the FAQ said could be addressed at that number. Then when you do finally find a way to get through to a human, s/he does not have the authority and I'd have to call another department at a later time at the same number!
There is ALWAYS some essential, uncovered (vaguely described) "extra cost" that adds cost to the entire repair. (Of course, it was implied that if I declined the extra cost, I would not receive the promised warranty replacement.) For example, "extras" (++costs) were added "for connections" for the replacement hot water heater. After costing things out (the monthly premiums, "service request" deductable, "extra costs") and compairing the total of those with the total for a replacement, equivalent water heater (with installation and removal of the old unit) from Home Depot would cost less. In short, it is less costly to buy the Home Depot onit with installation and removal of the old unit.
On top of all this, I was left a lengthy period without hot water, and the contractor did not carry away the old unit -- just leaving it in my front yard.
Save money and do not waste it on this illusory "warranty" program.
