Taobao.com is great platform for B2C customers around the world. I am using this marketplace in my WordPress e-commerce store to import taobao sellers products. I feel many overseas and non-chinese entrepreneurs either don't know this marketplace or might underestimating this platform due to its Chinese interface. I myself give 4 starts although it deserve 5 stars only because of its interface is not as friendly as other Major portals such as alibaba and aliexpress.
Tip for consumers:
Always check the ratings of the suppliers before purchasing and don't ever go with dirt cheap price without rating. And i suggest whenever you purchase you should leave your review as it help other customers a lot.

So far I did not had any issue with taobao suppliers.
I found one Gold member Shipping and freight agent from made-in-china.com and Booked my container. According to the freight invoice we paid all and still our container hold by this Faked agent. We claimed to made-in-china to mediate and resolve our problem. The portal representative Ms. Cathy received all our authentic proof and confirm that they follow up our claim.
Its already few weeks ago we have been sending them email reminder but no reply. Also this portal have no direct number, The one i found contact by WhatsApp which is never checked nor reply.
Dont ever use such portaL.
