Shipping insurance is not a scam. When you are shipping a fragile item that costs thousands of dollars it must be insured. We quote the shipping insurance afterwards so the customer can save the most money.
If we included in the price you would pay much more than you would need to since shipping insurance is a variable cost.

Keep in mind that after the shipping insurance you are still receiving the TV at the lowest price in the nation GUARANTEED. Its a simple concept to understand. Some customers unfortunately cannot grasp the concept but we have thousands that do and get to enjoy these great TVs and AMAZING PRICES.

Shipping insurance cost nowhere near what these scammers are collecting. Call a freight company and ask them how much they charge for shipping insurance per $100 in value. It's peanuts. These guys are pulling a fast one on all buyers who accept these charges.

They called me after my order to ask for payment of shipping insurance. Scam. Buyer beware.

Regardless of what the insurance should cost, the fact that they have everything they would need to quote the insurance price at the time of placing the order, but don't, is a complete bait and switch. It's highly unethical to quote a price and collect credit card info if you plan to charge more than that quote later. These guys should be put in jail for consumer fraud.
