on 3/14/18Do the results show any German ancestry? I had the same issue, in reverse. I have German grandparents and great-grandparents, but my results came back as 56% English and no German. Mind-boggling surprise. I just spoke with a person at MyHeritage this morning, who said it is very common for English people to have German DNA and for German people to have English DNA because of the migrations of the Angles and the Saxons way back when. In my case, the migration went from England to Germany, long enough ago that everybody "became German" but retained the English DNA. Maybe your daughter has German DNA from people who migrated to England long enough ago to "become English"?
