Watch for the $20 charge at the end of the month. They say a person is out, then the charge comes a month later. Had to cancel my card and get new # to keep them out of my wallet.

I got a standard form letter from Spokeo signed by David with no last name about confirmation of cancelling my subscription in May of 2014. Its the same form letter they used here to express we are sorry about your experience crap.
October of 2014 I changed the card number due an issue with Home Depot credit card security issues.
In march of 2015 and May of 2015 I saw two charges from Spokeo again.

I gave up trying to talk to them on the phone or e-mail and went to bank. They resolved it quickly.

Spokeo... How many Charge Backs do you get per month?

If you do use Spokeo, maybe you should try a pre paid debit card.

It looks from the experience of others that you have 2 chances of getting money back from Spokeo, slim and none. I have contacted my credit card company to block their charges, as they will keep coming at you for life otherwise. They told me they could do nothing regarding the payments already processed, which is understandable. However if a charge happens to slip through, they will refund with any interest accrued.
