America's Best

I went to the Americas Best in Crestwood about 1 week ago. My exam was rushed and my concerns not addressed because the doctor was headed out for lunch. I will never go here again or recommend them! They showed no compsssion and during my pre exam he shot about 25 puffs of air in one eye. My eye was irritated and he kept right on. The worst experience ever, I understand why people dont go to the doctor for nonsense like this!

Comack staff busy talking among themselves, then whenever they have an issue they start to speak Spanish about customers…my daughter interpreted & they were being rude. Waited 35min for a scheduled exam & Optometrist seemed in a hurry to finish. Told me nay a mild change to script but when glasses arrived they were blurry & I could not see clearly. Told I needed to get used to them. I've been wearing glasses for 50yrs & never had this issue. Cheap product & inaccurate script. Buyer beware

I will forever love Beavercreek location! Customer service was absolutely the greatest! The young lady was really helpful with assisting me in finding the right pair of glasses! She didn't rush me at all and I truly appreciated her help! I absolutely love my glasses! Thank you Americas Best!

I have been getting glasses from America best for the last 5 years. They continue to break time after time. It's always the frames. I have purchased a total of 8 pair of glasses, because the frames are reasonable, but you get what upu pay for. I also have experience my lens falling out, I have over 10 eye cases to try and keep them safe, to no avail, it's the quality of the product.

These guys at America's Best on 7200 S Murray, Utah charged me for my eye glasses and exam.
I paid the $250 plus to buy my frames and lenses. My insurance paid as well.
PLEASE NOTE! THEY WILL NOT MAKE YOUR GLASSES UNLESS YOU PAY WHAT YOU OWE.
Today I pulled from my mailbox a bill from America's Best asking my to pay a second time. WHY?
I got my glasses 6 plus months ago.
WHY PAY TWICE?
THIEF IS A THIEF.

Do not go to American's Best in Bluffton,SC!They will rip you off! My wife and I had to pay almost $300 a piece for our glasses. They will give you a very weak prescription. They don't even give you the lens you need to help you see. My wife went to Walmart and got a $6 pair of eye glasses and can see way better without any headaches. America's Best needs to go out of business!

So i went to Americas Best today to re-order a pair of glasses that I lost fully expecting to spend $$ for them. Well, after the gentleman and I had a good laugh that I had those glasses for only 2 weeks, he generously offered to replace them for FREE! Seriously was so shocked because this was my fault by being irresponsible! I have gone to this place twice now and every single time I am met with kindness and great help! I highly recommend them! 5 stars!

Let me start, I arrived at the store in High Point NCand had to wait almost 2 hours before being seen. I think they only saw me because I got up and was leaving. I bought 2 pair of glasses for $530 not what was advertised. I was promised if I brought my sunglasses in they would put new lenses in, they changed their policy now they won't do them. I was promised 20 per cent off as well! Never will go there again. Broken promises and lousy waiting time. Don't go unless you have a day to waste! /Patty F

Very ignorant check in lady, talked very low with her hand over here mouth, zero eye contact. Told my wife her appointment was not in the system...time to find a new place.

So I called to get an appointment and was sure to ask all the questions about the appointment based on a email I got from Americas best. First question was, is the eye exam free, they said yes with the purchase of a two for $79 glasses. So I'm now at the appointment where this that and the other is a different charge. End of my exam and I thought at the most I'd be paying $120, no no no it was $423 I didn't have any thing special done

Worst customer service. Thought I could go in before my cancer treatment appointment and order my daughter's contacts. Wrong.
The guy was about to do it but some woman came up behind him and said I have to wait 35-40 minutes to just order contacts. They are the ones who have the prescription!
I called. First he did a breath at me. I tried to do a phone order and he told me I have to come in because I have a health benefits card- the same card we've used on the phone many other times. I tried to explain it's just like a debit card- they don't file anything and he said " My answer is not changing."
Seriously the worst store and I'm done. The customer service has been an ongoing issue. This was Eddie in the Waxahachie, Texas store that was so incredibly rude this go around.

America's Best truly is the best period I've been going There for several years now. Special shout out to the staff at America's Best in Colonie New york. Today they found me a wonderful deal. The FRAUDULENT claim that it's $79.95 for an eye exam plus two pairs of glasses is absolutely a balld face LIE. They charge $79.95 for the exam and prescription. Then they charge for frames, lenses, scratch guard, progressive lenses, and warranty. They are LYING through their teeth to get SUCKERS in the door. It hasn't always been like this. I have been a customer since the mid 1990's and was satisfied and returned. Honestly, I will NEVER, EVER use America's WORST contacts and eyeglasses ever again! Also, In Grandview, Missouri they don't have a Doctor on site! The exam was performed by a flunky who told me she was the doctor's hands! Really beyond BAD, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! They get a NEGATIVE 10 star rating! 💩💩💩

This review is in regards to the office on SE Military Dr. I would like to let you know I returned to store after receiving my glasses and had an issue. I was rather upset about it and one of the managers, Angel Talamantez, came to my rescue. She was truly an Angel to me and helped me out so much. I just want people to know, there are some great employees, still out there. She was understanding and I left feeling very happy. I've been a customer there for a few years now, and will continue going every year. Thank you. America's Best for hiring some great people.

I recently had the oppertunity to finally get glasses from Americas best. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. All the staff, the front desk desk, technician and the Doctor. Had a few laughs as well. Great deal and great service. And guess what...I can see now! I will go back here, i recommend them if you are looking for a great place to get an exam and low cost for exam and glasses.

They were Rude at the service desk
And no store manager. I see by their reviews that customer service is not a priority, so I will spend my money where it is.

America's Worst general manager. My husband and I had eye exams and order 5 pairs of glasses. Our combined co-pays were over $800. He received a text that his glasses were ready on Tuesday and we went to pick them up last night (Friday). The general manager rudely told my husband he already picked them up last Friday (before he even received the text) and told me my order had been canceled. She is rude, prejudice, incompetent, and disrespectful. She is on a power trip and has a ghetto-mentality and demeanor. We had everything refunded and will never return. I would definitely recommend going ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE.

Good service! Fast and professional. I am on Medicare and there was only a $20.00 Dollars out of pocket, not a big cost. My glasses are beautiful and fit like a glove! Thanks to Dr. Salazar of the Ocala Branch and everyone on his team. Great experience. 👍

We got my son's glasses like a month ago, then the nose pads got broke and the lens coming off the frame. So, we went to the America's Best Clinton, MD, and the two female front desk are not friendly and not happy of having us there. We are asking for replacement they want us to replace out of pocket again for $180, but she said there's no other options to offer just pay the whole thing. No offer to the customer and they are just pushing you away. I am not supposed to give stars but no options. Not recommendable.

The staff at the Mesquite Tx location was awesome and the staff and the optometrist was totally nice!

Charge more if you have insurance - a ripoff. You see 79 deal, and pick out 2 frames
And then they say its not 79 but 500 because you have insurance

Request for Refund and Review of Recent Eye Exam

My son recently underwent an eye exam at your establishment, and we were shocked to discover a dramatic change in his prescription. Skeptical of the results, I sought a second opinion, and it was confirmed that the prescription provided by your doctor was off significantly.

This is not the first time we've encountered issues with prescriptions from your clinic. In the past, a similar error was made, resulting in lenses that were practically unusable due to the incorrect prescription.

Given these repeated instances of error, I contacted your office to request a refund. Despite providing evidence of the previous and latest prescriptions, I was met with resistance, and my request for a refund was denied.

I am deeply disappointed by this lack of accountability and customer service. As a loyal customer, I expected better from American Best. I urge you to reconsider your decision and promptly refund the cost of the exam.
