It was really easy working with Bookmarketeers. They did a fantastic job in redrafting my book content, and very patient. I would definitely work with them again
This company is a complete scam. I had the misfortune of hiring them for both publishing and marketing and in both cases, they did not deliver. I've been charged full price upfront, but then I was lied to, ignored, and constantly pushed to buy something else. I've received no return on my investment and a lot of rude attitude from the PMs. There are too many examples of their misconduct, but overall, it's a horrible company to work with.

Tip for consumers:
The company appears to be shady; they have a New York address and phone number, but the phone is always "Experiencing high volume of calls" and whenever you talk to them, it's clearly an international call (based on the gap and the way people spoke)

I just finished a live chat with Brandon Wattson from Book Marketeers. He asked pertinent questions at first. Insured me that they were trustworthy etc. When I asked for proof about the company and if they were BBB accredited, he wanted to speak with me on the telephone.
I immediately thanked him for proving they were a scam and left site.
WARNING: I was linked to this fake publisher from a Kindle Print on Demand site.
I would not give this company any stars! Not only did they not follow through on their contractual promises, but when I disputed the charges on my credit card they falsified emails and documents to dispute my claim.
Luckily, I was able to provide proof of their deceit and lack of performance. I would however, give 5 stars to Amazon Smart Marketing for the incredible marketing job for my book.

As a first time author I wanted professionals to market my published book to give it the best chance to be seen and read out of all the books available now. I chose them because I believed their spoken and written promises - Ben was the sales person and he certainly is good at crwating trust and excitement tonwork with this company. BIG MISTAKE. Jack, Derek, Sean and, most recently, Eve have all been my project managers since end of March - like a revolving door and every time starting over with new promises and programs and being told to be patient. Even Kimberly Hills, claiming to be a company exec, promised to handle my marketing program herself to ensure satisfaction. Was unavailable at a scheduled phone conference because she was on another call and passed me off to Derek. Not the only time a scheduled meeting was blown off. They did create a website which was pretty good although misspelled my pen name which finally got corrected after the third time I pointed out and requested corrected. They created a trailer which had to redo a few times before aligning concept for.my boom but have never been able to find it anywhere. Contact is typically made only when I prompted - often frustrated - or when they proposed another marketing option at more cost. Never saw increase of book sales as promised - matter of fact last month was the first month I sold 0 books since published and was the month Sean told me my marketing was in full effect. That sums up my experience. Lots of lip service and no sales. If you are considering Bookmarketeers with your marketing budget reconsider. Keep looking for marketing services that will actually help your book sell.
I initially used Bookmarketeers for line editing, copy editing, and developmental editing. Throughout the process, I asked when developmental editing would take place, but they never gave a straightforward answer. When line and copy edits were complete, they asked me to approve the final draft, but they had not yet begun developmental editing. When I saw how low the quality of the line edits was, in tandem with the fact that they didn't provide developmental edits, I asked for a refund. They tried to lie to me about providing the developmental editing, but I knew it wasn't present. I filed a dispute with the credit card company and hired a 3rd party to verify my claims, and won the dispute. However, Bookmarketeers explicitly lied during this process to say that I approved the revision and that they sent me 100 copies of the book, but fortunately my records were sufficient to disprove this claim.
Tip for consumers:
Their services are of low quality, and they will use deceptive practices to get your money.

I could not use any services they provided. The cover they created was poorly designed and never finalized. I had to use a different editor to get proper editing.

I hired Bookmarketeers to help market my five books. They said I would easily recoup my investment (which was substantial) in royalties. While they are quite good at making websites and graphics, I don't believe that their work sold any of my books. They promised reviews and didn't deliver. They kept saying they were changing their strategies, and I would see a change. It didn't happen. I feel very disappointed and that I wasted my money. They also posted some incorrect ads that I had to ask them to take down. They created a trailer for my book which was about Ireland with a picture of Germans in costume. I asked them to revise it with a picture of Ireland or Irish people. They never corrected it, nor was the trailer ever used. I do not recommend hiring them to market your books. They should change their name to something that reflects what they do: website creators and graphic designers.
