Byte has managed to actually unaligned my wife's teeth in less than six months and is now trying to back out of the dental damage by going around in circles with their customer service and their " management team". So the bottom-line is don't use their alignment service unless they can provide a "live" dentist, in your area you can verify issues - they won't, so don't use their product, unless you wat to toss $2000 away.plus forget any refund - it won't happen and the cost to litigate is too costly - so just don't even consider this company for "remote -online / in the mail " teeth alignment...

I started my treatment on Feb 2021, over 980 days ago. The results are disappointing, with marginal improvement. I'm on the nightly plan, and I wear my aligners for 10+ hours and use the vibrating hyperbyte. I wear each set of aligners for several weeks, six on average, until they fit comfortably, with no pressure. This is far more than the recommended minimum of 7 nights.
I have reached the end of a set of aligners and asked if another set will be prepared, given the treatment is clearly unfinished.
Their response is that I should try to go back to the beginning of the aligners set and start over. This would mean reusing aligners I used over 320 days ago.
I discarded the older aligners, but for the ones prior to last. For sanitation reasons and because they are severely worn after 40-60 continuous nights of use. They are designed for 7-14 nights of use.
Because I don't have the aligners I wore 300+ days ago, and even if my current aligners fit perfectly well, indicating I'm wearing the correct step, I was told that I voided my satisfaction guarantee, and they will only continue my plan if pay for a new plan, at a discounted rate.
I don't see how I would pay for a whole new plan, after 980 days of treatment on the current plan has produced such disappointing results. Further disappointing is that they use the technicality of me having discarded old, worn-out aligners, as justification to cease my treatment.
I can't recommend them.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration regarding my experience with Byte's aligner treatment. Unfortunately, I am left with no choice but to discontinue the treatment due to severe allergic reactions and subsequent complications.

I initially embarked on this journey with high hopes, believing that Byte's aligner system would help me achieve the desired results in a safe and effective manner. However, my experience has been far from satisfactory. I have endured over three distressing breakouts that resulted in painful infections, causing not only physical discomfort but getting C-Diff due to prolonged antibiotic use due to the infections; These events forced me to seek medical attention from multiple professionals, including my dentist and primary care physician.

Following their guidance, I visited an immunologist who conducted a thorough assessment of my condition. Based on his expert evaluation, it was determined that I must immediately discontinue the aligner treatment due to an allergic reaction. This decision was not made lightly, as my health and well-being were at stake. As the allergic reaction was the primary reason for discontinuation, it was the allergist who made the definitive call to cease the treatment.

Given the severity of my situation and the unanimous medical advice to discontinue treatment, I was left with no choice but to request a full refund for the aligner system. I entrusted Byte with my oral health and invested my hard-earned money in the hope of achieving positive results. Regrettably, my experience has been marred by a series of distressing events that have not only affected my health but also my confidence in this company.

I am absolutely furious at this point. I have gone through the painstaking effort of emailing, faxing, and physically mailing the letter from the immunologist, clearly stating in no uncertain terms that I am REQUIRED to cease the use of these damn aligners. I've meticulously documented every single visit, laying bare the glaring truth that their godforsaken aligners are the very root of these rampant infections that have forced me onto prolonged courses of antibiotics just to deal with the aftermath. And yet, what do I get in return? A resounding slap in the face as they brazenly deny me my rightful refund, all because the damn letter didn't come from a dentist!

My dentist is equally flabbergasted by this ludicrous circus. He's had enough dealing with the fallout of these shoddy aligners, watching patients come through his door, teeth in turmoil, all thanks to these infernal contraptions. And now, apparently, he's supposed to pen down some sort of validation letter just to appease these clowns? It's an absolute joke.

Let me make myself crystal clear: STAY. AWAY. From this abomination of a company. They've left me battling infections, scrambling for antibiotics, and fighting for a modicum of sanity. They've not only jeopardized my oral health but my patience and trust as well. If you're looking for a headache, heartache, and a hefty dent in your wallet, go right ahead. But if you have an ounce of self-preservation, take my advice and steer well clear of this nightmare.

THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE! I paid $1,900 to have my bite RUINED. 4 months into treatment I noticed my teeth grinding against eachother when they never used to do that. I thought it was part of the process of the aligners but this was not the case as my dentist told me by byte was a little off. I also had some jaw pain which I messaged customer service about and they ignored my email. My bottom teeth were starting to look worse than before and wasn't tracking with the aligners. Customer service told me teeth will look worse before they get better. They didn't bother asking for a photo of my teeth to see what I was talking about. Their claim that "a dentist will monitor your progress" is complete and utter BULL$#*!. They tossed me aside after they took my money and could care about me. They claim they will give you free aligners in the end only works if you complete treatment within 6 months. BUT I COULDN'T BECAUSE MY JAW WAS HURTING. To top it off I have 4 molars that ache, 3 have fractures! Now I have to fix my fractured teeth they cause with a dental crown which will cost me $600 EACH. Not only did they do NOTHING for me besides slightly straighten ONE TOOTH while doing NOTHING for the tooth I wanted to fix from the beginning (and the reason why I tried them in the first place), they caused 3 of my molars to FRACTURE due to a messed up bite. WHAT A NIGHTMARE. Now I have to go to a real orthodontist to fix the problem THEY CAUSED! DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR WEBSITE REVIEWS THEY ARE ALL FAKE. I had teeth that weren't moving along with the aligners and my dentist said it's cause the plastic on my aligners are a lot thinner than "invisalign." And she also said some teeth are more stubborn to move than others. SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND MONEY AND PAIN AND AVOID THIS PLACE PELASE. BYTE YOU RUINED MY LIFE
