“I like this Place”

Stuart S.

Left on Tuesday afternoon and called down to Caesars to see if they had any rooms for the night, the answer was yes, so we booked. The valet helped put my scooter together and was very nice. Check-in was fast and easy and up to the room we went, a real nice room but the only complaint I have is they have satellite reception and few channels, I know I did not come for the tv but when resting I like tv, so as far a tv goes, not great. Service for breakfast in room was fast and courteous, food good. The room was nice and clean and they had coffee machine, great. I like Caesars machines, there are a lot of new ones and it is enjoyable to play on them as they are faster not like the old ones that are so SLOW. Well, come on down things are still open and the boardwalk is nice and clean and police patrol up and down, you see them all the time.

“Eh. Maybe, if you want to experience being there.”

I made reservations on the Caesars Rewards app to have the room ready by 3 PM. I came in early and when it was time, the room was not yet available. What! So, I waited inside the casino until it was ready; an hour later. When that was completed, I did my 2000 steps from the Check-In to the parking garage to get my luggage so I didn't have to lug my heavy cargo and wait in the casino with it. Lo and behold, only one of the four parking garage elevators were working. With my diabetic legs, I hauled my butt up those stairs to get my luggage and then down the same stairs as I was not going to wait 10 minutes to possible not be able to get into the elevator. Lucky, I got a room at the Forum Towers, which was next to the parking garage. However, it was mislabeled. It says it has 69 floors yet I counted maybe 20 floors on that tower. Really? Time for dinner. OMG! I know inflation has really bumped up the prices but really, over $20 for a chicken pita plate? Almost the same price for a breakfast burrito on the next morning. I have better luck finding cheaper food at a McDonalds next to Harrah's or Denny's down the street if the homeless problem and the cold temperatures did not deter me from going out on the streets. Resort fees was cheaper when I was staying at Harrah's. I used my mobile phone as a hotspot for my laptop when I needed to use that because according the Norton VPN, the resort connection is not secured. Then their outdoor Cirque type event is $120 a ticket. I got a better price and entertainment going to the AMC theatres south of the strip. Otherwise, the room was decent with a lackluster view of the Rio across the 15 Freeway. Would I repeat? Probably not unless they give me free room, waived the resort fees, pay for all my transportation, and free entry into one of their slot tournaments. Will it happen? Probably not in my lifetime. I'll go someplace else, thank you.

You people clain " HOT AND READY " but when a person goes in to buy a 3 Meats pizza@ 8:50 last night was it was going to be 8-10 minute wait. That does mean it is not ready. So in my view all thoses tv ads. Are not telling the truth.
