I love travling, last month i wanted to buy a car, however i found it difficult, the price is always changed among some company, my friends told me use the CarsDirect. It makes it easy to buy a car, now i get my own car, Thanks
Some years ago I purchased a new vehicle through carsdirect.com. They located the vehicle I wanted, gave me the quote, I purchased it through them and went to pick it up. No sales people, done deal. This time, I made the mistake of putting in my contact info and I have been HOUNDED by sales people who will not back off. They call constantly, their managers call, numerous texts. I won't use this 'service' again. Beware.

Great app, good place to shop. A little false advertising. Buy here pay here refers to a dealership that you pay personally for the car. No financing or credit. They are the bank. This site still uses underwriters and credit scores to determine elegability. It still up to them and the dealership to determine what car, the price and money down. If you have bad or credit rating below 550 you most likely will not qualify for a vehicle. This is a good resource just wish they would quit with the buy here pay here bull crap. And be honest. I do however recommend them if you have a credit rating of 670 or better. Easy way to find your next vehicle. Watch my Blog on Wednesday on IHeart radio about preditor care dealers...
Empath Rick.
Short and Sweet Awesome Place Of Business. My Salesman Gabriel Sanchez was the best I have ever dealt with, and I'm not the nicest person to sales associates.
I went through the process with this company and was directed to a dealership which was supposed to be guaranteed approved. When I got to the dealership I was informed that I needed a 2k down payment to get the vehicle. I expected this much but was assured I didn't need it before I got there but no big deal. 2 days later I called back and had everything they requested to purchase the vehicle. Was then told that I needed 4k more and there is nothing they can do to help. Good thing I wasted 2 trips there and have 50 hard inquiries on my credit now. Thanks
I have tried few times with local dealer before I used Car Direct. The Car Direct makes it easy to buy a car. Excellent experience. Recommend to use it.
The sales representative hassled me for 5 months sending emails stating that I pre qualified for an auto loan with the return of a few items(proof of income, address, etc). The sales man wasn't coy when he kept insisting that I add my disabled sister's to my loan application to get a better rate. After informing him I worked for a school district and that I have a credit union he continued to send out for loans request even after I ask him to stop and that someone else take over my process, just to receive emails inquiring how d i like my new car. Whether it's the company as a whole or just a few idiots they hired I give them a low barrel rating for the debauchery and countless time wasted.
This is a fabulous business with grate values it is completely trust worthy and amazing!
Why has their website been down for over 2 months now? I cannot build my own car. After I pick color that is it. Not just on my home computer. I have tried several computers from different locations. How do they do business? Very odd.
Who would have guessed you could purchase a car in such an easy manner. This is the only way I will purchase a new car in the future. Thank you cars direct!
We went to a Dealership Cars Direct recommended and the dealership promised to sell us the car at the price Cars Direct Quoted. Instead of getting the price promised to us we were lied to and got cheated by about $800. The way the contract was written you would need to be an accountant to figure out what you were paying for. So like a fool I trusted City World Hyundai in the Bronx NY and was cheated. Me and my wife left the dealership both not realizing either of us had the contract. This was done on purpose. It took three additional days to get the contract as the financial thief told us to come in a couple of days to pick the contract up. After getting the contract and adding up the Cars Direct price plus the fees plus the tax we paid almost a $1000 more. I wrote to and called the dealership and received nasty responses. I called Cars Direct for help and after a week of not returning our calls they said they could do nothing and had to talk to the dealership. I'm guessing Cars Direct and the dealerships are in cahoots! I would never suggest Cars Direct to or Bronx City World Hyundai to anyone. They are a bunch of thief's! I am not going to stop here with just reviews I am going to contact every local BBB and Attorney General until they comply and give us our money back.
As you can see from other ratings - CarsDirect is probably the worst of the online car search engines. Unless you are looking for a totally generic car, cars direct is a total waste of your time and energy. Sad, because this could be a useful service with just a little basic search engine design competency.
Well, the price was fair I guess, however, you must jump through loops. For, example the way they want their down payment, then they only want to finance through capital finance,,, they must sell you an expense extended warranty, also they gave me a hard time about insurance, finally they only half $#*! washed my car after paying $250 for prepare... they are similar to other dealer they like to keep you all day...
I read a great review of this site on techcrunch and used the site successfully. I would highly recommend it if you are looking to buy/sell a car. Check out here to read a full detailed story of carsdirect

I had specically request to contact by email and this person called vehicle specialist start to call me after he had put number. Like most of other buyers course this was not the only place I been receiving quote. Over the weekend I had bought vehicle from another dealer who was offering $2000 cheaper then this site and I had kindly ask him to closed file since I had purchased vehicle from another place. That was after this person called me and emailed me. Then respondse from him was I been rude and told me have a nice life... Wow that was uncall for what I did. I guess they don't want to have customers to come back for them when they don't purchase vehicle from them on first time.
Beaware of signing up with these con artist. Once you sign the contract your stuck with bad leads. They charge for them even if you can't come in contact with the customer. They say that they are exclusive leads but their not. Don't waste your money with this company their crooks.
What kind of idiot would buy a car online? Beyond that, this site looks like it was created in the 90's. Also, if I'm stupid enough to buy a car online, why are you force feeding me all of these ads? Big thumbs down for CarsDirect.com
Cars Direct - Cars direct is a relatively unknown used car website. That is because it was predominantly created as a new car website containing only dealer cars. Because of its many unusual features and its top quality service and information Cars Direct has been ranked #1 new car buying site by Forbes, Time, PC Magazine, Yahoo!, and Internet Life. For a few years now they have transferred and added a complete and just as competent used car section. On their home page they have a large number ticker counting the number of cars advertised on the website, everyday I look at it, it changes. Today there were 2,835,363 cars listed. Definitely a good range of choice. As I said earlier it is the unusual features and information that make this site so unique and useful. The most interesting of which is a relatively large section called CarsDirect's Advocacy Center. Included are two major informative tools, one is a buyers bill of rights, something that many people don't realize they are entitled too when buying on-line. This includes such things as freedom from gouging and haggling and full disclosure. Secondly the advocacy center has a comprehensive section on different potential scams such as; vehicle condition scams, financing scams, and con artist and Internet scams. This scam information includes possible scam attempts and how to avoid and protect yourself from them. Included is also a pricing information section called pricing411. Essentially dealing with how dealers set up their markups, what kind of profit margins are legal or not and the legal difference in prices from dealers or private sellers. Under the same Advocacy Center is a "before you buy" section which again gives much useful information regarding how to read a vehicle history report, how to visibly inspect a car, what mileage is considered OK for a used car, how old is too old, and a don't buy a car if... section.
Further more next to the "new cars" and "used cars" link is a link called "research" here you can read extensive reviews of thousands of cars, use the finance calculator to see what you can afford, compare cars using a pretty cool interface, search for incentives and rebates and you can even get a sneak peek of next years car.
Once I go with this carsdirect.com website for buying a car from online. But this site is not at all giving full details of particular that we need. So this is making confuse to buy car from this site. Even I think their website is not keeping update every day.
Research new car prices and deals with exclusive buying advice at CarsDirect.com. Read expert reviews, get help with auto loans and search over 1 million used listings.
