“They were terrible”

They were terrible. Read their guarantee. Its sh*t. They couldn't unlock my phone and wouldn't honor their 100% guarantee, based on their thousand of loop holes. Once they get your money its gone. They are a complete scam, stay away.

I paid for an unlock code for my mobile phone from these charlatans and thieves who have managed to establish a sponsored link on Ebay. They took my money, sent me an uninformative email and no code. I emailed them (twice) and they ignored my emails. I cannot get my money back, it's somewhere in Pen. State now according to my Who Is investigation. They will steal your money so don't touch them, the swine

This is an internet scam web site that promises to send the consumer unlock codes for mobile phones via internet at discount prices but send you useless information about where to go next to get a code, so they take your money and do not provide the service they promised. This site should be avoided at all costs. If you try to contact them the page just says it is not authorised.

SCAM! FRAUD! I never thought I'd fall for an online scam, but... here I am, reporting one :( I paid 4.79 GBP for what I had hoped to be a service providing me with an unlocking code for my phone, and all I got was what could at most be described as an "opinion", giving "advice" on how to unlock your phone in various other ways which anyone could think of themselves, without having to pay money for. I have made a complaint to a Customer protection agency, but I doubt I'll see my money back or have the website shut down. :(

It's a scam. They lure people into thinking to pay for mobile unlock code but, that's not what you get and they charge your credit card twice even four times.

These people are rip off merchants. The same has happened to me as others. No
Unlock codes only help on how to go to others for unclock code. They are probably going to say it's stated on the website, but surely if they can't do the job and they
Probably know it, how come they want to charge £6 for the privilage of telling us
So. They need locking up ( sorry for the pun). Whatever you do don't go near these

What a awaste of money. They implied that I would be sent an unlock code, instead I was sent useless information such as, try a market stall holder. And I paid 3.99 for this. Makes me sick. Some of us have to work hard for our money, I feel they are getting away with theft. Do not use them at all is my advice.

Paid £3.99 plus 20%vat and did not get the code, but got the report. They should not be taking money if they cannot provide the code. Scam, scam, scam. Should not be allowed to carry on & i will be taking it further. It is no wonder we find it hard to trust anyone with thieves like this

I should have checked them out first!

As with previous reviews, just the report, no code.

This is what it states on the web site, after I had submitted my IMEI:

What's included in my HTC G8 Wildfire (A3333) Unlock Report?

Your HTC G8 Wildfire (A3333) Unlock Report is unique to your mobile phone and contains the unique unlock code to enter into your HTC G8 Wildfire (A3333) keypad. Full unlock code entry instructions are also included.

Has anyone ever received a code?

Hi all, just wanted to say that after joining you all in giving some negative feedback of the site I did actually write to their customer services with the following...

> Dear...
>
> I was under the impression that you helped unlock the phone right
> through to the end result of the actual phone getting unlocked with a
> code. Your advice is neatly presented and clear but essentially you've
> just presented information that can be googled just as easy. I feel
> slightly let down for the money paid and wanted to pass that onto you

*****************************************************************************

They replied to me with...

Dear Customer,

Many thanks for contacting Code 2 Unlock customer services, your feedback
Is important to us.

As an unlock code was unavailable for your particular model of mobile
Phone, only an "Unlock Report" was available.

We're sorry to hear that the "Unlock Report" did not meet your expectations.

I am pleased to confirm that this order will be refunded in full.

Thank you for shopping at Code 2 Unlock.

Kind regards,

Leona Michaels

I didnt expect them to reply and certainly not to refund any money! I was pleasantly suprised however have not yet checked to see weather the money has come in.

I would therefore recommend anyone with similar experiences to write them like i did... hopefully you'll get your money back too at least.
