I showed up 10 minutes early they were all super friendly. The name unfortunately is not on my receipt but I was there 9/8 and the girl who helped me was professional and kind answered my questions or found out if she didn't know. Not sure how long it will take to get them back but I will post an update!

If I could give a minus 0 I would. I went for personal fingerprinting recods on March 23,2024 and still not received the records. I have called numerous times to check on the status of this and a recording says its been submitted for processing. I cannot reach a live person. I paid out of pocket for this personal record check and if I have not received them within two weeks I will report them to the better business bureau. This place is a joke and should be held accountable. I cannot believe that state agencies use this rob shop! Tammy from West Virginia

Yes, I am reporting them to the better business bureau for investigation if I don't have my records because it is impossible to speak to a live representative.

Utilized Austin Oak Hill location for fingerprints. Service was poor and the receptionist/office supervisor should be terminated.

Lazy, No customer support skills, appears to unhappy in her job. Recommend avoiding this company.

Rudeness and poor communication skills rampant at the Empire Central location in Dallas; I waited 20 minutes past my appointment time 4 days ago, waiting room full of people ahead of me, occasionally a staff person would yell something out about being a few more minutes, she was in the other room, so left, rescheduled for today. I was at most 10 minutes late, one other person ahead of me, my name was called and prior to me saying anything staff person says " you are 10 minutes late and proceeded to tell me they are really not supposed to take me because of this. OK, but ok for me to wait 20 plus minutes? In her defense, she did not appear to be people experienced or able to communicate well. Possibly additional training needed?

I can only assume that they have stepped up there game because of the previous reviews. I had an appointment this morning at 9:40 and arrived at 9:30 everyone was wearing mask, I was greeted at the door by Stephanie. Went to reception desk where the guy there reviewed my documents, and handed them off to Mrs Stephanie who had me follow her to her office and the whole process was smooth and nothing like the reviews I had read before going. Great job Mrs. Stephanie. Keep seeing the Light!

My husband and I wanted to volunteer at our grandkids school so went on line filled out form and made an appointment. After waiting 1 hour we were finally seen. There was a sheet to sign in on but the guys friend came in and he went before us. You would think the school system would use someone with a better rating

First of all, customer service is a joke. Rude! RUDE! RUDE! Not helpful. They keep asking for a service code. How am I supposed to know a service code?! No help from customer service. Again, CUSTOMER SERVICE! That means that you HELP people. No. And we are screwed bc they've got a monopoly going so you can't go elsewhere.

Wish I could leave zero stars. First time using this place of business and will be my LAST.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AND WILL STEER ANYONE & EVERYONE AWAY.
The lady at the front desk, from the very second I walked in, was rude and had an attitude for absolutely no reason at all for the entire time I was there and throughout the entire process. I watched her treat everyone else who walked in after me the same way. No customer service whatsoever. Colored lady with really short hair. She acted as if everyone who walks in should know how to do her job for her. I walked in, told her I scheduled an appointment online, she asked "for what service," I told her "finger printing and background check." She responded with, "but for what?" With the nastiest tone and attitude towards me. She is then the one to assist me with the finger printing process. She gave no instructions on how to do anything and god forbid you ask a question or seem confused. Because I was unaware of finger placement or what was needed of myself, she continued to catch an attitude. She eventually left me in the room to figure it out myself, which at that point I had rathered that because I was done dealing with her. I finished the finger scans and the payment process popped up. I went in to ask if there was something she needed to do with this, she kept asking if I had an authorization code (as if I knew what that meant), again, with her nasty attitude. Told her I was paying myself. Took my card, processed payment, handed me my receipt and never said another word. I snatched my receipt and left.
I'm usually pretty good about just brushing this kind of thing off and going about my day, but the service I received was just ridiculous and so uncalled for. I called customer service but I doubt they'll do anything or call me back. How is this company still in business? They have such terrible reviews.

I would give ZERO stars if it was an option!

I made an appointment online for passport photos at the Texas City TX location. Only a few appointments were available, but I took time out of my workday to drive to the location because I needed to get the photos done. When I entered, the receptionist asked why I was there. I said I had an appointment for passport photos. She apologized and said that they don't do those at this location. I told her that I had a scheduled appointment for that service at this location. She apologized and said that it happens often, and she doesn't know why they offer appointments for a service they don't provide.

I had to send hard cards for a michigan rn license for a job that is remote. I sent the hard cards on 9/21. Rejected but mailed back my application 4 weeks later with vague instructions to resubmit. Resubmitted with new prints taken by a jail employee with a badge number, followed existing protocol. Wait over 3 weeks. Tracking the email code I then find out they were rejected again but no explanation and no notification prior. They do not send back any of my paperwork per policy after 3 weeks of waiting. I call identogo and get tossed around on "customer service" and am told to resubmit hard cards again but with no insight as to why my cards were rejected again when all other state applications of mine were accepted. I asked to speak to supervisor. I'm told that they will forward my inquiry to the supervisor and he will call me. Its been 3 weeks and no phone call. I then just call the criminal background check state police division in Michigan and tell them my situation. They said that identogo never even registered any documents with them and to ask for my money back and to send a letter to Michigan state police directly asking for Michigan state police to read my cards instead of Identogo. Take in mind its December now! Identogo refusing to refund. Never have heard from their supervisor. This is causing the company I work for and patients great harm because of identogo dereliction.

I had the worst customer service experience ever here! When I asked the employee to explain the process to me they could not answer any of my questions. He stated, "I have nothing to do with the website, this is just a side hustle." I would think twice before handing over legal documents to someone who is just working a "side hustle." Rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful establishment.

I made an appointment for fingerprinting to comply with my CWP instructions. My CWP instructor advised me to go to Sled.S.C.Gov then on to making an appointment for finger printing in Clinton S.C. On 18 January 2024 at 11:20. I went to the Identogo site at 10:00 and the Lady at the hotel desk said that they were supposed to be open at 08:30 and no one had showed up this morning. More over, 4 other people were waiting to be fingerprinted. I repaired to my car and called Identogo Customer Service and explained my situation and the first thing out of her mouth was "Well sometimes Da don't open... We will just have to reschedule you for next week..." I was livid...! Ask "Who decides if they can be open or closed?" the persons response was, "Well, dats not my problem, I aint got nuttin to do wit dat." So, I ended up wit a nudder a-pointment next Wednesday 24 Janurary 2024. Last but not least, the 34 mile round trip ride for nothing was somewhat disconcerting, Brooks Barnes

Caught in the web of Identogo's monopoly, the FTC is investigating antitrust violations against IDEMIA, aka Identogo, aka Morphotrust, aka Safran – a corporate chameleon with a laundry list of aliases due to mergers and more.

This company's grip on vital citizen data is facing scrutiny. As a victim, I've experienced the inaccessibility of my own data, rude customer service, and the feeling of being caught in a rigged game. Identogo's practices are laid bare as the investigation unfolds. The government's collusion with this private entity is a slap in the face of democracy. The FTC's quest for testimonials from those who see through the scam is a glimmer of hope in the fight against this monopoly madness

As you can see, the website shows 4:30 pm as the closing time. However, yesterday after my appointment, a guy came in for his appointment at 4:00 pm.
The guy: May I get my fingerprints done? I need it for my hospital job.
The employee: No, there's a snowstorm coming, and I have to close the machine. You can always reschedule it.
There were still 30 minutes away from closing time; it was sufficient time to finish his appointment diligently.

Our state has contracted with these people who are horrible. They stole $52.00 and gave me nothing in return. The customer service number they gave me was not even theirs. All numbers lead to making appointments but nothing for those of us who require the results of their back ground check. This company is evidence of the extreme level of corruption in the state of Texas. If you can go ANY WHERE else do so. The owners of this company should be jailed for theft as should who ever handed them a state contract.

I had an appointment in the Poughkeepsie office, showed up to a locked door and no other information - the people next door had no clue - said this happens a lot - there were five sets of people there with appointments! I'm looking for another service. This was just awful - some said they received an email cancellation - I received absolutely NOTHING. Terrible business practice.

Should be a zero. Had an appointment verified by text messages. The people working there refused to identify themselves and also refused to provide service. They lied and acted unbalanced. These people should NOT be handling anyone's personal identification. Threatened me with trespass, I said ok do it, They have a Government Contract and do not follow any code of ethics. I have never been treated this way anywhere else. Fire them and start over, Street Road in Bensalem Pa

Disconnected twice.
Third time the agent could not hear me.
In a nut shell, I spent hours trying to obtain information on how to submit an FD-258 finger print card by mail.
I have to get fingerprinted at a local police station since the nearest Identogo facility is 200 miles away.
I live in Miami and the nearest office is in Tampa. Tampa, seriously.
A couple of agents have directed me to the web site to get instructions on how to send by mail.
That information is not on the site. It keeps making me schedule an appointment.
I still have not figured out how to make this work. You would think a company entrusted with your fingerprints would know what they are doing. There should be an option for 0 starts in this review.
Ridiculous.

Wanted me to go back to my car, in the rain, because I was 10 minutes early. Required that I wait outside... should have nicer service.

Phone service took >30 min and then they dropped the call.

I went in for a typical FBI identity history check and never got my results. After several attempts to find out where my results were, I would get things like "call this number" or "I don't deal with that state" never getting a clear answer. I finally got the answers I was looking for but it was too late to view my results. The reason for this issue is that all my information was incorrectly entered into the system so I never got notification my results were ready to view. In order to get the results I will have to spend another $50.00 to begin a new inquiry and take more time out of my already busy day. There is no compensation or discount available which I find irritating as it was their clerical error which caused the lack of communication to let me know when they were available. Identogo is a waste of space and needs to do the right thing when they are the ones who messed up to begin with. My several attempts to find out the results via phone call resulted in a run around time and time again. I will not use Identogo again and will advise others to avoid using them at any cost. Thanks for wasting my time and money Identogo!

I don't understand why a staff Melissa was so rude.After trying to schedule for an appointment a couple of times without success I contacted them,this lady helped me out but with an attitude and ended up yelling at me that I should not mess around with the system as if I intentionally jammed their system.I felt so offended since I politely asked for help.

I took the morning off of work and drove an hour each direction for my TSA pre-check appointment.
The parking lot is empty. The doors are locked. The building is dark. When I called the national number, I was told that I should have received a text that my appointment was canceled as the facility is closed today. I received no such text. The only offer they provided was that I reschedule. This company will not get a dime of my money.

Setting up an IdentoGO fingerprinting appointment is pretty simple and easy. However, after the fingerprint you're out of luck. I've been waiting over 2 weeks for my fingerprint to be processed. There are no customer service people to help, and there is no information about why the process is taking so long. This is a roadblock that is preventing me from being able to work and it's infuriating that it takes so long and you can't get information about when or if it will be processed.

Tip for consumers:
The automated customer service numbers send you in a loop that wastes time and will not put you in touch with any live person
