I very recently within the last few months employed the auction services of an auction house that is supposedly deals specifically for Camera photographic equipment
I sent off two (2) 35mm film cameras to be sold at auction with Special Auction Services
I have just recently received the money payment of the two 35mm film cameras
I had a company cheque for the amount of £15. The auction price was £20 for both of the two 35mm film cameras
I am far from being content with this whole auction deal
I am planning to return the company cheque to the auction house and make a 100% complaint against the auction house Special Auction Services
A warning to anyone who is going to send old 35mm film cameras to auction house Special Auction Services
Please avoid this auction house
A total rubbish auction house that does nothing to give a true auction value for 35mn film cameras
I am seriously very inspired by this auction house that is supposedly deals with photographic equipment for auction
I have come to the conclusion that this auction house is a rip off business that does not have any concerns for the auction vendor.
I was dealt with professionally but the valuation that business Special Auction Services gave to me is well above any expectations. I was told that I would likely get around £40 per 35mn film camera making a total of £80 for both of the two 35mm film cameras
But instead I had £20 for the two cameras which equates to £10 per camera
Absolutely no where to the original auction quote for £40 per camera auction house quote pre auction
When dealing with Special Auction Services be ever so very careful with the dealings.
I personally would advise anyone who wants to deal with Special Auction Services just do not do any business
