Buyer beware. Shopgoodwill.com is listing items as sterling silver or 10k, 14k, etc., gold, also stating that they have tested the item with their Nixon DXL, or another X-ray analyzer, in the listing and the item is not sterling silver or gold. I recently purchased a necklace listed as 925 silver only to find out it is 835 silver. I did contact them and they said that "there is a chance that the analyzer measured the silver content incorrectly." A couple of items listed as 925 silver have not had even a minute amount of silver in them, which I did receive refunds for. I purchased "14k gold" earrings and the item arrives and they are clearly peeling, which gold does not peel, and returned them only to be charged a restocking fee with them saying that it was tested again as 14k.The item was relisted and sold to someone else. I wish I could find out if they were once again returned for not being 14k. I bought an item "11k Yellow Gold 2mm Pink Spinel Open Swirl Small Brooch 1.2g" only to find out it is 1/10th 10k, contacting them again to be told "Our staff evaluators have inspected this item before listing, and it is 100% guaranteed to be genuine, and as described" and after my experience with the 14k earrings I didn't bother to return the item.Not all, but plenty, have been misrepresented. Even if you do your due diligence, you may still be misled by their description and photos.
