We purchased a sofa in Jan 2020, 3 months later the frame broke in 2 spots. Due to COVID it took them months to come to "repair" it. They also tried to force me to use the warranty that was pushed on us to buy! (We were told it would cover EVERYTHING, We felt pressured and we were assured it would replace or refund any of the sofa if we were not happy with any thing in the 5 years.)
I then had to argue with Ashley's and said it is within the first year so I will not go thru the ins policy. They argued and I finally got them to send someone! It was prob 4-5 months AFTER we called about the frame. So right off the bat we had a sofa we couldn't use for at least 6 months! The tech came and "repaired" it. However he also left us a bag of the fabric used on the sofa saying we would prob need it (I still have the bag) well within another year the frame broke again and the entire sofa is falling apart at the seams (every part of sofa) and the Ottoman is so broken that there is a hard piece of wood on it (hard to explain but there is no support just wood) it's actually dangerous. We filed the claims and Montage (which took forever as they kept asking for the same pics and kept saying they would get back to us and never would) we actually called weekly and asked for managers who promised they would call back and never did! Finally they said it's wear and tear and they will not cover any of it! They only offered a replacement for the ottoman (saying they have no idea when they could get it to us) or less than half of what we paid because I stated it was dangerous! The rest they said is wear and tear and we need to fight with the manufacturer. First off we were sold that policy stating it covers everything and no way is a two year old couch that already broke 2 times and now is falling apart at the seams everywhere "wear and tear" and in researching the insurance company and Ashley, we now know that is all they do to everyone! I then went to Ashley's direct and complained and was given a case number. They then sent me right back to the insurance company saying they would help me! They didn't, I knew they wouldn't. All that happens is it goes back and forth and no one helps. Now I have a sofa I can't use it's so broken and I had to purchase a new one from a different store

Good customer service at the store but once Ashley has your money, that all goes down the toilet. My salesman was Mark. He was knowledgeable, professional, and efficient and; as it turns out, will say anything to make a sale. The chair and ottoman that I bought as a gift a whole month early, the one that Mark assured me could be delivered in time for the event, will now takes yet another month to even ship. That's a total of a two-month wait. For a chair and an ottoman. My surprise "gift" is ruined. It is the height of stupidity to expect a cash customer to wait two months for anything and to lie to them just to make a sale. I will never be back.

Worst customer service. Call center receives call and does nothing. Go to store with issue and they say they will handle and then later tell you they tried, but the call center was subcontracted and they can't get resolution.

I am so sorry i did not see this website before spending over $1300 on a california king sleigh bed i purchased this past february 22,2023. I already had an electric platform and a brand new sleep number california king bed purchased in january 2023. I was told by the sales person that the frame of the sleigh bed would easiy enclose the 4 sides of the mattress and platform with enough clearance as long as
They were all calfornia king. Well several weeks later,after the brief 72 hour time frame for return of the headboard, which now was not clearing the mattress and lifting the siderail out of the headboard frame. I contacted customer service they immediately sent someone to my home. This person only told me that this particular headboard was a problem clearing the mattress because of the quilted material on the headboard.
He told me someone would contact me and they did promptly only to tell me that because i did not report the problem within 72 hours it was now my problem. I told them i did not know about until it happened when i immediately called them. They told me only the store manager could help me and to contact him
It has now been over 21/2 weeks and i have called the store at least a dozen phone calls and have been there to speak with them and i still have no one who will talk to me see me or discuss this matter with me including 2 different managers
I do not know what other action i can take and i cannot use my electric platform as it

Tip for consumers:
i was lied to over and over again telling me i should go to the store and pick out another fame without a padded headboard and when i did this they told me i was not issued a credit.
i was asked for measurements on my mattress and never contacted after that
i called and left messages for a return call from several different sales people and was never called back
i think being lied to led on then not speaking to me was so rude and disrespectful

If I could have given "NO" stars I would have. I purchased a loveseat and sofa from Ashely furniture on two occasions. Once in 2016 and again in 2020 on both occasions I ended up paying over $3,000.00. I am writing this review as a result of the set I purchased in 2020. I noticed I was sneezing and my skin seemed to always be irritated. So I purchased 3 air purifiers and place them strategically throughout my newly built home. But as time went by I noticed my skin, eyes and nose continued to itch and burn. My sneezing episodes continued and got worst, eventually through the process of elimination I discovered it was the loveseat and sofa set I purchased from Ashely furniture that was emanating a chemical odor that was the corporate.I don't know what ether smells like but there is a chemical vapor coming from the furniture. When I was finally able to contact Ashely their response was since I didn't purchase their extended warranty and so much time has passed I'm stuck with what I got. Consequently I can say two things for sure, there is dangerous chemical gaseous odor emanating from the furniture I purchased from Ashely Furniture and two, I will never purchase anything from Ashely ever again. Oh, there is a third thing I can say, I saw at least one other customer of Ashely that had the same experience and got the exact same response from Ashely. Buyer beware! I intend on posting this review in as many online reviews as is possible.

Based on my own experience and from what I see in the reviews online Ashely Furniture only stand behind their furniture until it is in your home from that point on all bets are off! Buyer Beware

One of the worst experiences I've had. The salesmen and everyone in store are great, but after we ordered it has been a nightmare. First off we chose ashley furniture because we didn't want this headache. We spent near $10,000 and on a pair of couches, a sectional for the basement and 2 mattresses with bed frames. Fast forward 2 weeks and the couches, along with one mattress is being delivered. The other mattress ended up being on back order which we were informed a few days before the delivery date. The 2 couches in the living room were easily delivered along with the full size mattress, then the sectional (which I measured the hallway several times before ordering and knew it would fit) comes and they get everything but the corner piece into the room. They were trying to fit it through with the curve against the wall, damaging the sheetrock several times, all they had to do was turn it around. They tell me it needs to be taken apart and I talk to their supervisor about them bringing it back to the warehouse and having their team remove the back of it so it would fit. Fine, $180 charge, agreed they left. I go into the back yard and see the piece sitting out there with it going to rain that night. I call my brother he drives an hour and took us about 3 minutes to get it into the room that it didn't fit. A few days later the bedfranes arrive in boxes that looked like they were having a throwing competition with. What do you know, both bedframes are damaged and the one is missing a leg. A week later the final mattress arrives, great. They come rolled up vacuum sealed so I have them leave it in the living room while my new bedframe from RAYMOUR AND FLANIGAN is being setup. A few hours later we move the mattress up and open it, SURPRISE, it's the cheapest $800 mattress that they sell. We spent over $2000 on the mattress we ordered, now we have the replacement mattress being shipped after waiting another 3 weeks. I called to ask about the cheap mattress that is here and told them that I wanted a supervisor here when they remove it because now the house it fully furnished and they will be bringing it past 2 TVs, and the lady at the warehouse got an attitude with me about how their movers are professional, and it won't be a problem. In the next sentence she asked me if I had rope to tie the mattress in half for them. I'm sure this will go great tomorrow. Conclusion, ashley furniture is not a great company anymore and I would never recommend this company to anyone.

I purchased a love seat and specifically stated that the only time I could take delivery would be on Tuesday or Thursday because I have Dialysis on Monday Wednesday and Friday. This company FLAT OUT LIED to me. My purchase order shows a delivery date of 02/06/24 which is a TUESDAY. I called to confirm now I am being told that they don't deliver on Tuesdays or Thursdays. If you want to be LIED to go to this store Just like a SLEEZY USED CAR SALESMAN you will get the Royal Shaft. I spoke with the GM He didn't care that they Lie and run their Business by LYING to Customers. I can cancel with a Restocking Fee. If you want Terrible Service and Want to br Lied to Definitely Shop Here.

Stay Away They will tell you anything to get a sale. This place is just like a SLEEZY USED CAR LOT

I purchased a sectional couch from AF on 2/19/22 and didn't receive it in April 2022. The ottoman was not delivered witht the couch as they said it was on back order. We received it many weeks later and it arrived "sunkin in the middle". I shouldn't have accepted it. After only TWO weeks I noticed one of the cushions looked very worn like the material was wearing thin. I contatced AF & they said they would send us a new cushio cover. One by one ALL of the cushions looked the same. Then we noticed a back cushion was bulging so I picked it up and the zipper was "popped" open and will not close. The brown gross stuffing was falling out. I tried contacting the Furniture Protection Plan company that I purchased for $449.99 at the time of purchase and they can't find my account. Really? I contatced AF directly & they said they will send me a new cover & stuffing. They offered to send a tech out to stuff it and I declined because I am not taking time off from work to have it stuffed. I did it myself. What they sent included an "inner" white material sack that goes inside the cushion. None of the other cushions have this. Then I had to sew it! This is ridiculous! I'm stuffing & sewing a cushion for a couch that is 5 months old! We called customer service and spoke with a very rude man who said "No Returns! No exchanges" He kept interruping us and kept saying we were interupting him. I am beyond upset with this company and this cheap furniture and I'm sorry I ever bought it. I wasted $3K of my hard earned money on a piece of junk. It looks like its 10 years old!

Went into store to look around for a future buy and got sucked in. My husband and I were looking at a double powered reclining entertainment couch with bucket seating. The sales lady took us all over the store trying to find the right fit for us. I was looking for something similar to my parents and was out of luck. We tried one particular couch and figured it could work. Of course the convenience of there being a SALE! Going on the that day made the $4,000 couch $2,800 only for that day. My husband still was not convinced and we decided to leave. The manager came outside and STOPPED US in our car and told us $2,000. This made my husband happy and we headed back inside. We bought the couch and made arrangements for delivery on 8/6/22. When the driver brought in the couch and plugged it in to test it, I should of seen the warning signs... The left side did not work. The couch would not recline. He then tipped it over and worked something on the bottom of it and re-plugged it in. It started working. He then told my husband "this happens with these couches." Due to a family emergency (unexpected death) we had to leave out of town the very next day. After being gone for the week and working a very busy schedule we were finally able to sit and enjoy our new purchase. Tell me why after sitting on this couch exactly 3 times that weekend before starting another heavy work week, the left side stopped working again on 8/20/22. I called the store that very night and explained what was going on. The young man that answered told me to email a video to him so he could attach it to the call ticket and have someone come out to fix it. So we did and we waited for the call. On the 4th business day of a no call, we called the store again, just to be told that it takes almost a week to have a tech call you back to SCHEDULE! An appointment for repair. This is not OK. The man who answered then told me that it would be best to go to the store and complain. So we did. I had a store manager help me by putting in a request for an item switch. She stated that someone will call me back with the date of delivery for the replacement couch and pick up of the broken one. But the only call we got was from Rose telling me that they are NOT replacing the item and that she spoke with the manufacture and they are sending out the replacement parts. I asked her "how in the world do you know what is broken if NO ONE has seen it?" She then said "the manufacture is well aware of this and knows what to send for the fix." So that right there told me this crap happens ALOT. So the repair parts were barely received the last week in August and then called to put in for a tech. My husband received an text from God knows who that says click on the link. When we do that we are taken to a screen that automatically tells me the next available repair date is 8/29/22. Long story short I have a $4,000 couch that I can not use but trust and do believe the payment is already due on 9/7/22 for it's 1st installment. This is the worst place ever to buy from. I should have shopped local. I will never do this again. Please listen and stay away from Ashley. Nothing is worth this headache.

I had purchased a few sets of furnitures on 07/10/21 at their store in CONCORD, CA. A dining table, 4 barstool, 1 bench, 1 coffe table, 1 couch and 1 love seat. And paid it in with my debit card. It was delivered on 7/25/21. My brother was the on who recieved the items. He never bothered to check the furnitures, since it is brand new and will be in good condition. As i got home i checked the units myself. Finding that most of the furnitures were damaged and was not properly installed. I had called the number and reported it within 2 hours after the delivery. And was asked to take pictures of the items. Also, was told that they'll send me an email the next day, w/c they did. They were asking again for 360 degree picture of the items. I called their number again, and mentioned that i had sent pictures already. And they told me thatbthey will get back to me after a couple of days. But they never did. So, i went to their store, spoke to one of the managers and complained about it. I asked for a replacement, but was told to wait for a few days. And call them after. But when i called they didn't answer, so i went to their store again. Finding that the store manager i spoke to was no longer working there anymore. Instead i spoke to a different manager. Again, i was told to wait for a few days and call them back. Also called their costumer service number for an update. Only to be told that i should've reported the issue within 24 hrs, w/c i did.the so, i insisted it to them. And mentioned for it to be returned and be replaced. That is when i was told about "NO RETURN STORE POLICY". I was out on hold for a long time, passed around. Retelling the issue, put on hold multiple times and being hanged up on the end. Again going back to the store and was told that they have to send someone to check the condition of the furnitures and decide after. In had mentioned to them that inwant it replaced due to improper installation and damages. Because we don't want to use it. Due to not being installed properly, it might break. But was told that i have to wait for 3 weeks or so, to have someone come and inspect the furnitures. At that moment i was so upset, disappointed and frustrated. Causing me stress, time money and my vacation wasted. Waiting for them to resolve the issue. So, i told them that i want to return the furnitures and my money back. And again was told about the "NO RETURN STORE POLICY, that they have by one of the managers. I had been on their store multiple times. And was avoided by the managers. They were walking away, hiding, pretending that they were on a phone call just to avoid dealing with me. So, i end up waiting for their employee to check the condition of the items in the end. Then their employee came on 08/26/21 and spoke to him on the phone. I mentioned that i do not want the items replaced. I wanted it returned and my money back. I ws told told that he will put it on his report and left my house with iut leaving any paper works. And mentioned that they will get back to me with the result of his inspection. Which has not happened. As of this moment i wanted to return all of their furnitures back and be refunded.

expect long delivery delays, damaged furnitures, improper installation, employee avoidance when complaining and "NO RETURN STORE POLICY"

I'm a Disabled Female in San Diego, CA. On March 8,2022 I entered into an Agreement with Todd Wanek's Stoneledge Furniture dba Ashley Homestore at 7770 Miramar Road, San Diego, CA. Todd Wanek is using Fraudulent Business Practices to Operate a Bait and Switch Scam. It's now July 2022 (4 months). I secured payment before Ashley's end of the contract was upheld through their Synchrony Financing Option. I trusted that I would be given New, Good Quality Furniture and that Ashley would honor the Manufacturer's and Extended Warranties. Instead, I received a Defective Mattress and Incorrect Pillows twice.

When the mattress was delivered defective, I immediately went into Todd Wanek's Ashley Homestore, explaining the situation. Instead of honoring my Consumer Rights to a Full Refund, I was told I would have to keep the product until such time I was offered a replacement. I have made many requests to cancel my order. I have sent emails and they Ignore my contact. I visited the store and hand delivered a Formal Cancellation Letter and video recorded giving them the letter and also verbally stating my cancellation on the Video Recording. Ashley Homestore continues to Ignore my requests. Now, Ashley Homestore keeps calling to get me to schedule a delivery, even though I have provided multiple written and even verbal notices to cancel due to their Breach of Contract. Stoneledge Furniture/Todd Wanek dba as Ashley Homestore is using Fraudulent Business Practices, failing Local, State and Federal Laws in an Attempt to Victimize Me.

I am entitled to a Full Refund under the guidelines of The California Unfair Practices Act +Section ******* of the California Business & Professions Code and The Magnusom-Moss Warranty Federal Lemon Law. The California Unfair Practices Act Prohibits any unlawful, unfair or fraudulent business act or practice and unfair, deceptive, untrue Practices. A merchant who violates the Unfair Practices Act can be assessed Civil Penalties per violation, as well as an additional penalty if the victim is a Senior Citizen or Disabled. As per this law, I have let the Todd Wanek's Stoneledge Furniture dba Ashley Homestore in San Diego failed our Agreement and refused to correct the issue. Due to their Bait and Switch Scam, they Breached of Contract. I've demanded my Consumer Right to a Full Refund, but I was told I will never get a refund and I must accept a Redelivery. I am being bullied to accept a Re-delivery. They even showed up to my home, unannounced to my home to Badger and Bully Me to accept a replacement and reminded me that they refuse to refund my order.

I have repeatedly told Ashley I want a Full Refund, due to their Bait and Switch Scam and Breach of Contract. I have made multiple contacts with Ashley Homestore and they continue to ignore my Consumer Right for a Full Refund, due to their Breach of Contract. The Contract is Null and Void. Based on Breach of Contract and Fraud/Deceit. All you need to do is research the BBB, Google, YELP, Consumer Affairs, Attorney General, FTC, DOJ, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and all Governing State and Federal Agencies. There are also many social media sites like Trustpilot, HissyKitty and more, to investigate all complaints just relating to Todd Wanek's CA Retail Location. He has many more Shell Companies which you can investigate.
