Kroger collects your personal and financial data at check out. On my last shopping trip, I swiped one form of payment at checkout but the Kroger scanner "selected" a different credit card that was still in my wallet for payment. Despite multiple denials from Customer Service, an assistant manager finally admitted this was "a fluke" and refunded my money. I don't know about you but I keep insurance and banking cards in my wallet, too. Who really knows how much personal information Kroger collects from you when you check out? Hollywood Market is right across the street.

Madison Veterinary Hospital pads their bills.

I brought my dog in a few days early for her annual appointment because she was experiencing quite a bit of pain from a bad tooth. My vet tech was Ashley. My veterinarian was Dr. Grube. We got there ahead of our 8:30AM Emergency appointment and were promptly put in an exam room where we sat for 20 minutes. Eventually Ashley came in and I explained that my dog had been waking us up for the past couple nights in pain, panting, shaking, drooling, etc. The right side of her mouth was very swollen and she was in obvious pain. Dr. Grube took her to examine her and upon her return told me that she "didn't think she was in pain as much as she knows somethings' up."

Um...what? Red Flag #1

Ashley then presented me with 3 "estimates"...the first for $481 requiring updates on all my dogs shots (even the ones she doesn't usually get), various tests, etc.; all of which Ashley told me "had to" be done before they would treat her tooth. The other two estimates were for $1,780 and $2,230 respectively. This is for cleaning her teeth (a $455 procedure) and a possible extraction. It is also about 3-4x what anyone else charges (Red Flag #2) so I asked Ashley if there was any flexibility in the procedure prices and Ashley said, "Yeah...there's a lot of extra stuff added on there." (Biggest Red Flag #3) So now we're almost $500 in, my veterinarian not only does not diagnose my dogs problem but doesn't even recognize she's in pain, no one has done a single thing to address that pain, the estimates are at least triple what any other Oakland County veterinarian charges, and by their employee's own admission the bill is padded. The quality of care here is no better than any other local veterinarian despite costing 3x as much. I'm sure Dr. Levy will jump on here with some malarkey about "worst case scenario estimates" and what a great veterinarian Dr. Grube is, but all I can say is this whole problem is resolved within 48 hours of finding another vet and for $1,300 less than Madison Veterinary's lowest estimate. So if you're thinking of taking your pet to Madison Veterinary Hospital all I can tell you is that Kimball Animal Hospital in Clawson provides outstanding, compassionate care - without having to pay for any "extra stuff".

If you love your dog like I love mine, you wants veterinarian wh cares about your pet more then growing their business. That is not Madison Veterinary Hospital.

Good customer service at the store but once Ashley has your money, that all goes down the toilet. My salesman was Mark. He was knowledgeable, professional, and efficient and; as it turns out, will say anything to make a sale. The chair and ottoman that I bought as a gift a whole month early, the one that Mark assured me could be delivered in time for the event, will now takes yet another month to even ship. That's a total of a two-month wait. For a chair and an ottoman. My surprise "gift" is ruined. It is the height of stupidity to expect a cash customer to wait two months for anything and to lie to them just to make a sale. I will never be back.

Dr Pooja Satish Gandhi is highly unethical, unprofessional, immature and inexperienced. Not great qualities in a medical professional. Or a human being. I'm sure other dental professionals at Garden City Dental have some morals and professional standards but Dr. Gandhi is not one of them.

  • Plexaderm

Plexaderm simply doesn't work as advertised. It's effects are very short-lived and it actually cracks if you move your face at all. Also, you can't use moisturizer, foundation, or concealer with Plexaderm. We used to give each other Elmer's Glue facials in middle school by applying a light layer of glue and then peeling it off after it dried. Plexaderm is like that... except 10x more expensive... And not as effective as the glue. Save your money.

  • Luminess

This product covers no better than your average drug store foundation. What they don't tell you is that you can't use moisturizer, concealer, or foundation with Luminess. The fact that the make up is applied with a really cheap air brush makes no difference in the fact that this is just a bad product. It does NOT make you look younger. As a matter of fact, since you can't use ANY of your normal skincare products with it, you actually look about 10 years older after Luminess! And good luck cancelling your "subscription"!

  • Birchbox

7/30/19

Birchbox overcharged me for my monthly subscription and charged me additional shipping, causing an overdraft at my bank. While they were "terribly sorry" Birchbox took absolutely no responsibility for their error. I had to cancel my subscription in order to get a refund for the product overcharge and additional shipping charge (which they refunded) and the bank fee (which they did not.) Birchbox expects it's customers to eat the financial repercussions of It's staff errors. Just another greedy company out to a screw It's subscribers out of every last dollar. Sad.

  • Car Shield

4/22/19

The price and "Platinum" plan I was initially quoted suddenly got switched to a more expensive but less expansive "Gold" plan when I was actually trying to pay for this warranty and no one seemed to know why. I know why... this is a classic bait-and-switch deal. And you will wait at least two weeks before/if they pay your mechanic for any car repairs. Just a real shady way to do business. Avoid at all costs.

Tip for consumers:
Avoid at all costs. Carshield exists solely to take your money.

I have yet to EVER have an order from Pet Care RX processed without incident. They routinely get orders wrong, discounts are misapplied or not applied at all, and good luck getting a replacement or refund on the wrong order that you've already been overcharged for. Go literally ANYPLACE else for your pet needs.
