The manager of the store Camila attempted to refuse service to me today while I was with my 6-year-old boy and 2-year-old daughter for pointing out that her associate was rude for locking me out when I only ran to the car because I forgot my wallet. It was time for the store to close and they had made the announcement and I went to the register to pay for my eldest son shoes for his graduation tomorrow. Once there I realized I forgot my wallet ran outside grabbed it and as I turned around I noticed the girl looked dead at me and then locked the door. I waited for another customer to come out and ask them to hold the door for me and re-entered the store. I then made it a point to tell the young lady who locked the door that that was very rude of her because she saw me running with my two toddlers coming back into the store to pay for my item. It was then that I was approached by the manager Camilla telling me that she cannot offer service to me because I refer to her associate as rude. I then understood that I would get nowhere talking to her and asked to speak to her manager. She then cleaned that she was the manager and the owner. At that point I decided I would stand there in protest as she threatened to call the police. I knew that I had not done anything wrong so I remained. The manager Camilla then retreats to a closed office saying that she's calling the police. 10 minutes later the young man who was attempting to ring me up went to that office and retrieved a phone and brought it out to me. It was the owner of the store on the phone. Once I explained to the owner what happened, he was flabbergasted once I mentioned that she was refusing me service. He then ordered the young man to ring me up and I was able to purchase my son's shoes. Today was my first visit to shoe carnival in Lawrenceville and it will also be my last. I'm almost 50 years old and this girl couldn't have been more than 20. She was definitely on a power trip but was ultimately humbled and never emerge from the office to show her face. Another business being ran by young people who have forgotten or have no idea what customer service really means. Beware
