I ordered a 25 lb. bag of toasted buckwheat. Instead, I received raw buckwheat as evidenced by its lighter color and crumbly structure (the attached photo shows Nut's buckwheat in a big bowl and toasted buckwheat I bought from another vendor in a smaller bowl). Not only that, the product they sent me is cheaper than what I ordered.
I called them on the phone and politely described the problem. The rep immediately got argumentative without even taking a look at my order. Then he asked me to send a photo of the product which I did.
The next day I got an email stating "The picture you sent is brown but the Raw White Buckwheat would be a much lighter color". They either think I'm blind, dimwitted, or both. In any case, it is insulting.
They offered store credit. I want a refund.
I filed a dispute with my credit card company.
