This is going to be long so bear with me. What I say in this review is very important. This company has horrible business practices and made me feel guilty for something that was their issue. I did NOT feel like a valued customer whatsoever.
My first purchase from them was a big one. It was my engagement ring. It was on sale, normally a 600-dollar ring, called "sublime" My Fiancé ordered it, and was in advance so that I would be able to show it off before thanksgiving. It, unfortunately, got "lost" in transit, and when calling DSW to see what they could do they said it probably got stolen and that I would have to contact the seller to resend another. When I contacted Moon Magic about this, it took them 4 or 5 days to respond, and of course, as soon as they respond they tell me my shipping information has been updated and it's on the way. Hmm, that's a little weird that it updated the minute that they responded to my email, It could have been a coincidence but I was checking the status of my order frequently. Mind you this is a 600 dollar ring, and it took months to arrive.
So that was my first incident with them. I know now that I should have checked online reviews and took the time to do my research before purchasing from them. I have never had an issue with any online retailer prior.

So, my naive self and not doing any research, I decided to give this brand another chance, because I really did like my engagement ring (so far), it just took a while to get to me. So I ordered a few pieces on their black Friday sale.
The items were as follows: Watch - Rose Gold Radiance (Edgy Lugs), Mother Nature Bracelet, and Mother Earth necklace. The necklace was a bundle of both for 25 dollars, normally 25 each. (This is important later) The shipping was still a bit slow, longer than stated, but at least my items didn't get lost. This time however it was worse than it getting "lost". I eagerly got home from work and immediately opened my package to find the wrong item in the box. Like entirely the wrong item. I had received 1 ring, called "Raw Crystal Ring - Amethyst in silver" In a super small size, not even wearable or giftable. I was frustrated at this point, I just wanted to call someone and receive the items that I had ordered, but of course, they only have email. So, I emailed them minutes after opening the package, with a detailed picture and my tracking information and order number, stating that I received the wrong item entirely. It took them 4-5 days to respond, again. So, of course, you can understand my frustration when the first response is "Hello Amber, thank you so much for getting in touch. Please accept our most sincere apologies for the inconvenience. Was there a Packing Slip inside the box? If yes, can you please send me a picture of it?
I will take a look at the pictures and get back to you as soon as possible to discuss a resolution.
If there is anything else I can help you with, please don't hesitate to ask." And of course, there was no packing slip. It took another 2 days for her to reply. Her next reply she stated that I could keep the ring that I received and that they will send the correct items RIGHT AWAY! I mean I certainly hope I didn't have to send back a ring I never ordered. I didn't even want it...

TRUST ME IT GETS WORSE!
So, I got another email saying I would receive my tracking information the next day. I am relieved at this point that they are sending what I did order right away. I then got an email approx 2 hours after stating that the necklace and the bracelet were OUT OF STOCK. Something that I had ordered over 1 month prior on black Friday, that I was supposed to receive, and paid for, was now OUT OF STOCK. I asked for compensation at this point. Not only did I receive the wrong product, but the product I did order was out of stock. It took them 3 days to respond to me asking for compensation. They claimed they were not receiving my emails. Which I find odd at this point because they didn't have an issue before. I reached out on their Instagram page and got a response back after a day, stating that their email system was down and that they are swamped with the holidays. That I would receive an email from someone soon.
The email that I received stated that they could send something with similar value, and also said they gave me a $25 credit. I have yet to see that credit anywhere. She never explained where I would receive the credit or how. So that was probably just a lie. The problem is, I ordered on BLACK FRIDAY. None of their items are that cheap anymore. And I Got 2 for the price of one with the bundle. I wanted them to send me something of similar value AND give me compensation for my time wasted and frustration that I shouldn't have to deal with as a customer. They would not budge and refused to give me any compensation. They claimed my compensation was the original ring I received, and that the never agreed to send me that ring in the first place. I never agreed to that either, that was their mistake, not mine. That ring is useless to me.

So at the end of it all, they are sending me two items instead of the 3 that I had ordered. No compensation for the hassle and It wasn't my first choice or even second choice for the item that I did want. It has been 10 days since the shipment was created, I am supposed to receive my products tomorrow. We will see about that.

BOTTOM LINE: DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE SHOPPING ON INSTAGRAM BRANDS. They also delete comments on their Instagram that don't fit their narrative, Deleted my comments about my issues, and others as well. That seems to be the norm for them. They are constantly deleting comments about issues, and only accepting reviews that are 4 stars and above on their website. I feel like this brand is disingenuous and non-transparent with their potential buyers. Stay away if you are thinking about buying!

Hello Amber,

Our number one priority is making our processes as helpful and customer friendly as possible, so we appreciate you letting us know about your experience so that we can improve.

We are very sorry for the delay in the delivery of your engagement ring, we are glad that you received it. Please note that we didn't have any intentions to update the tracking for the packages when we want and also that is not possible, as DHL is controlling that.

We apologize for sending you the wrong item instead of what you originally ordered, I am glad to see that your replacement is delivered yesterday (04.01.2020). We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and confusion.

All the best,
Moon Magic
