I purchased an item for $250 and when I tried to use it, it turned out to be a piece of junk. I returned the item the next day. Few days later, I received an email from Groupon that they had received my item and were processing the refund and that I should receive my refund within 2-3 weeks, but most likely "faster". It has been over a month and I received no refund and no correspondance on when I can see my money back. I emailed them twice and all I got was a response from a Groupon Robot ( I kid you not, that's the signature) that they would contact me soon. Frustrated, I dug out a well-hidden phone number for their customer service and decided to call them. I was on hold for 60 mins (no joke) and after 60 mins they just hung up on me. I called again and again and was on hold for another 30 mins and got to speak to a real person. I was advised that they were "investigating" the refund. I asked what the problem was since I received a confirmation that the goods were safely returned. The Groupon rep asked me if I could send them the email because they don't have a record of that email. I did forward their own email to them and still nothing. This morning I received two more automatic emails telling me that they are still looking into the matter and someone will be in contact with me. Unbelievable! They might be good company when you buy something ( like I did many times before) but God forbid you need to return an item. You will not see your money back. Check customerscoreboard.com- 419 negative comments about Groupon customer service and only 50 positive one. They are notorious for delaying and not issuing refunds to customers.

As soon as I get this return resolved I am cancelling my account with groupon.

I am glad that I did not read the other reviews. Everybody is so upset and frustrated with not getting their orders. Mine came in 3 days- I guess because it was a poster and not a personalized item. Regardless, I love the poster. It actually looks better in reality than on the website. I will order from them again.
