I can't say enough about how wonderful Broadturn Farm is to work with! I am the mother of the bride and collaborated closely with Angela and the Broadturn team throughout the planning process. They were such a pleasure to work with every step of the way! Angela was patient and inquisitive - she asked so many thoughtful questions and really honed in on what my daughter and her husband wanted. She took the rough outlines of a vision and brought it to life beyond all of our expectations. The florals - from bride's and bridesmaid's bouquets to boutonnieres to mother of the bride's and groom's petite bouquets, and of course the ceremony arrangements - were all exquisitely composed. They were playful and loose, but sophisticated and romantic. When the bouquets and bouts were delivered to the hotel and when we saw the ceremony flowers and tablescapes at the venue, they took my breath away. My daughter was so so happy with everything, I will never forget the look on her face. Mothers-of-brides, HEAR ME on this point... if you want creative, original and stunning flowers that reflect the of-the-moment beauty of Maine, hire this crew! Angela and the Broadturn Farm delivered the wedding flowers of my daughter and her husband's - and her father's and my - dreams. Thank you Broadturn team for all of your hard work and thoughtfulness, we will never forget you!

I can't say enough about how wonderful Bread & Butter Catering is to work with! I am the mother of the bride and collaborated closely with the B&B team throughout the planning process. They were such a pleasure to work with every step of the way. Our event coordinator Renee brought it all home and orchestrated the reception my daughter and her husband - and her father and I - dreamed of. The food was SPECTACULAR... creative, delicious and impeccably served. The antipasto and seasonal vegetable boards during cocktail hour were built with amazing care and consideration for every flavor profile (the figs were a particular favorite!). One guest told us they thought it was almost too beautiful to eat! They (and everyone else) quickly got over that and there was little left at the end of the hour. And dinner, WOW, everyone raved about the Southern barbeque menu and how thoughtful it was to have vegan and GF options. Renee went above and beyond to give me peace of mind all night, taking care of everything so that I could just relax and be in the moment with our family and friends. Mothers-of-brides, HEAR ME on this point... the last thing I wanted was to be distracted with the issues that crop up during any large party like this, and I absolutely was NOT. Renee managed everything and it was seamless. My husband and I danced our feet off and had the time of our lives. From initial conversations with Emma and Kelly about menu planning and rentals, to ceremony planning and day-of logistics with Renee and the incredible team that was there cooking and serving, it was FLAWLESS. If you are hosting a wedding in Portland, you MUST hire this crew, they are amazing! Thank you B&B for all of your hard work and thoughtfulness, we will never forget you!

This is an updated review based on the Minted team's responsiveness to our concern about advertising that appeared on our wedding website's RSVP confirmation screen. Originally, when guests RSVP'd, the confirmation included a large ad for "Minted's gift recommendations." We do not mind Minted branding appearing in the footer of the site and on the printed invitations, but we felt this product placement was inappropriate and confusing as it looked like part of our gift registry. When we realized this, we immediately asked Minted to remove the advertisement. At first, they said they could not do anything about it, but they continued to work the issue (over the weekend) and let us know they were finally able to manually remove it.

We appreciate the extra effort the Minted team made to resolve the situation to our satisfaction and would recommend them to anyone considering using their wedding website.

In our original review, we said that our experience with Minted's wedding invitations was positive overall. The design and customer service teams were easy to work with and the quality of the final product is very good for the price.
