BEWARE! TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE! I bought a pet carrier from 1-800-PetSupplies on 7/11/2013. This item was said to be in stock and would ship within 3-5 business days. Today is 07/29/2013, I still have no pet carrier AND this company is procrastinating, creating obstacles and resistance to refund me with the amount of the bag that never existed ($69.95). Not to mention when I first requested a refund, they replied saying that "Please be advised that we will make all attempts to cancel the order for you but it is not a guarantee". Mmmm what?!? But you don't have the product! They can't deliver what I bought, or refund me, I have been contacting them asking for a refund for over a week now and they reply me with vague emails and keep making me wait longer and longer with no refund in sight! Really. I dont say this often but I'M TRULY SHOCKED! They tell you they are going to get back to you, call you back and they simply don't. Then you have to call again the next day, be on hold forever, talk to someone and they just wont help you! Then you write another email, ask again for your refund for a product you never even freaking touched... and they reply with another vague answer, making you wait longer and don't help you! They claim it is a problem with their vendor, but how is that my problem? Last I checked, I did business with THEM, I paid THEM, THEY told me the product was in stock, not their vendor! If they were on top of their game to begin with the item would have been listed as backordered with no estimated date for delivery and that would have avoided any problem! Which is exactly the situation I encountered, no product, no estimate availability... okay, but NO REFUND?! They are not cooperating with me at all! I'm pretty easy, I dont even really care about the mistake of claiming the item was in stock when it wasn't, or calling after 2 weeks of thinking the product is on its way just to learn that I am not gonna get it at all, because it was never available! BUT the fact that 18 days later I cant get a refund for an item they are not going to deliver to me is just too much to handle and is this is way I am contacting the better Business Bureau to report them right after I am done leaving this review in as many sites I possibly can to avoid any good faith customer go through the joke I am going through right now dealing with this dreadful company 1-800-PetSupplies.
