My sisters and I contributed to a baby stroller ($970!) for our niece on the BB&B gift registry. We then found out that she would not receive it until she paid the almost $100 in sales tax. The registry did not mention the sales tax at all, not giving us the option to pay it in advance. I called customer service and was told that the item was paid in full. After my niece received notification of the tax, I call customer service again and was told BB&B could do NOTHING. I finally sent her a gift card to cover the tax. I also e-mailed customer service with my complaint and received a "We will respond within 72 hours" e-mail from them, It has now been 2 weeks and still no response.
