After returning the car, my wife received an email that NU Car was keeping the hold amount ($455) because of damages she incurred. She incurred NO DAMAGES. NuCAR eventually admitted this. We are still waiting to get the "hold" amount back nearly a month later. Smells like a scam to wear you out and stop persuing your money back. She's on the phone with them again this morning.
Tip for consumers: Use Hertz or Budget or Alamo/National or any car rental agency other than NU Car.
Products used: Car rental. The refund is for the "hold" they placed on the credit card. Note that the card used was a CREDIT card, NOT a DEBIT card.
