I took a small Java course to learn computer programming, for about $200. It was good, similar to a beginner book but the instructor was helpful & answered questions timely. Nice. At the end of the year they offered year end discounts, I took an Accounting Course, and a more expensive Java course, hoping to really get compentant. The accounting was similar, reasonable price, only a bit dated (printouts not spreadsheet) and alot of payroll that nowadays people would likely use a service for. Still, the instructor was very helpful.
Except for this AWFUL $1,000 Java course I've taken. It's terrible. Imagine reading a book on your computer screen, no humanized or instructor crafted notes. A few videos from an obvious previous training website platform, where they just kinda show you Java, like they're bragging about it or something?! Uhmm, excuse me guys, when can I join in? I feel like I'm 14 watching my 18 year old brother & his friends hog up the computer time.
Awful. Do not sign up for any expensive courses. $100-$200, maybe at your own risk, but anything else previous students seem to have signed up for a similar fate. Bad course, no real value, no refunds. No job growth from it. You've been warned. DO NOT SPEND BIG MONEY HERE! Courses are very shoddy and not real 'professional training'.
