After owning a Hughes Leather sectional sofa for four and a half years the leather dye has faded and discoloration is apparent. I explained to Joybird furniture where the sofa was purchased that believe the dye process was flawed resulting in only a surface application that did not penetrate deep enough to prevent premature fading. Joybird stuck to their 1year warranty claim so nothing was done except to provide a leather conditioner. A new L shaped pad was purchased so it clearly shows the fading of this $4,000 sofa. I asked Joybird to replace the two smaller cushions and I would pay their wholesale cost but they were not helpful.
