Poshmark encourages liars with their "The buyer is always right" strategy
I have been selling on Poshmark a while. In my experience they always side with buyers but I usually don't mind since I get my shoes back in the same condition as when I sold them. WOW, the buyer returns the shoes worn and without the manufacturer's box, packaging, tags, etc and mailed in a plastic bag. They were brand new with a minor defect that was pictured twice in the listing. I contact poshmark send pictures and tell them of the condition of the shoes I received back and they decide I did it! Really, why would I destroy my own shoes and how could I have fit the boot box in that plastic bag which I provided them a picture of (the bag even showed the return label as proof of what this person did to me). She lied to get the return and my guess is she wore them a while, decided they didn't fit and had already tossed the manufacturer's box when she came up with the return scam. She called them fakes--they were not and I proved that to Poshmark but they allowed her to return them anyway due to "undisclosed defects" even though my listing had 2 pics of the defect from different angles. She also said all my shoes were fakes- the first fake anything accusation I have ever received. So I get ripped off for $36 after Poshmarks commission and am left with shoes that I cannot resell for much of anything.
Poshmark encourages buyers to lie sidingwith them when they lie as in this case. Lets reward scammers should be their motto.
