Poor customer service
So I ordered a dress to be a bridesmaid in my brother's wedding. The wedding is in March, so I ordered in November. The dress arrived thanksgiving day, but it arrived with no packing slip and none of the tags said anything other than the store's name.
As soon as I got the package open I tried it on but it wouldn't zip up. And it wasn't just a little too small, I had 7 inches of gap in the back. There was no way I was going to get this dress to zip or to get a tailor to make it wearable. They would need to add a whole panel of fabric to it and after everything, color matching and all that it would never look right.
I let my mother try on the dress, just in case I was going a bit crazy. I wear and ordered a size 14, my mother is a size 8/ the dress was tight on her, but it zipped.
So I emailed about getting the next size up, very nicely that hey, I think the wrong dress came to me, (because even the color didn't match the bride's swatch that she had gotten about a month ago) but all I got back was that yes, they had sent the right dress and to please send them photos of my measurements to verify the mistakes with the dress.
So I did, in my bra and panties I stood in my bathroom and took close up photos of the measuring tape, twisting the tape a bit to get a straight on photo of the numbers...
The email I got back was that I wasn't measuring in the right spot and I needed to get the measurements done by a seamstress. So once again I headed to the bathroom, in a full length mirror, taking almost naked photos of myself measuring myself and being careful not to move the tape for the photos, I send what some countries would call porn to a dress maker over the internet. ( mind you the dress is still the wrong color)
I am worried I may have to buy a whole new dress, still in the wrong color and even if I do, the dress will also come and be the wrong size. If that's the case I will be out over $300 for clothes I can't even wear. This dress was not customized, I ordered a size 14, just a size 14, no additions, no alterations... nothing. So why is it so hard to get the dress sent back and get a different one?

Please kindly do provide us the required information for return. We will check if our tailors made the dress in wrong size, and process refund then. We checked with our customer service dept. You measured in wrong way at beginning, we can't tell if we made the dress wrong. From the precise measurements you provided later, we checked that you chose wrong size for yourself. Your body waistline and hipline are much bigger than the ones in our standard size US 14. If you chose US 14, for sure you can't wear this dress. Please do double check on this.

All our dresses are made to order, which is listed on each item page. And we only make dresses by following the size and color customers choose. If we make the dress wrong, we will be for sure to provide solution. But we need your kind cooperation to provide us the correct information.
About our package, we have our own bag with brand logo, and brand tag on dresses. We are sorry if it is not enough for you.
