All I did was bump a post after 2 hours with 0 responses in order to get help. Who did it hurt? No one. Yet here comes this admin telling me I shouldn't bump my post. Pretty sure it is my post so I can bump it and try to see if I can get some help. I don't get where this programming forum communities get their noses permanently lifted because all I get is snobby reactions from them, because all my questions are so horrible or I decide to bump my post to get some replies. Just don't unless you think you can deal with jerks.

This is being added a few minutes later: Completely just had the thread locked and closed because the admin decided "it wasn't going anywhere." Who the heck was he to judge.

WORST SITE EVER!

These guys are awesome. By the true meaning of awesome. The site is well done (this coming from a Web Developer), and is super super easy to navigate. The content on the site is magnificent. The staff working at RT are some of the best people on the internet. They are very fan driven (most sites/companies claim to be, but these guys truly are) and show that they truly love their fans.

I hardly ever do this, but today StackOverflow really just made me so mad. I used to enjoy getting helpful answers to questions, but I don't know when the so called "tech geniuses" decided to use the site and ended up making it so snobby. Here is how to use the site:

USE BIG FANCY WORDS THIS WAY PEOPLE THINK YOU ARE ACTUALLY A CODER.

MAKE SURE YOU ASK QUESTIONS THEY DEEM TO BE GOOD.

LASTLY, MAKE SURE YOU FIND OUT HOW MUCH THEY WANT POSTED.
Some will say the minimum, while others say post everything.

Seriously, they told me I can't "contribute" (in other words ask questions, which is what the site was meant for), because my previous questions apparently weren't good enough. Basically they just insulted my intelligence as someone who is in school learning how to code. HELLO! I am not going to know everything. That's what I was there for.

Also, about 99% of the "help" you will get, is people fixing your grammar and spelling. Didn't know that the site was for English teachers to go in and fix that, instead of REAL coders coming in and helping you with a problem. WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE A COMMUNITY AS CODERS AND THIS SITE DOESN'T REFLECT THAT!

Tip for consumers:
My suggestion: STAY AWAY!

Go to http://www.javaprogrammingforums.com/

Seriously, they treat you so much better.
