I have completed the defensive driving course back in 2018 with this company. I decided to return again. The site has definitely become more tech savvy. They have database with a bunch of random questions for you to answer while registering such as what is your eye color to "do you prefer walking or running...etc" what type of pet you ever owned. They create these questions ahead of time so at any point in the course, they randomly ask you questions to see if you that is taking the course and not someone else.
Some instances the questions did not pertain to me but because its multiple choice I had to answer.

So now when you go through the course its broken down into 4 modules. Seems short? Hell no! It has subcategories I think I saw about 8 videos but most likely its more. For each video you can read on screen and listen, but, you cannot proceed to the next video until the system tells you to proceed after it finishes reading on screen. Ok no problem. Sometimes it prompts you to speak into the microphone via the device you are online with. It uses your voice by reading the same sentence every time to confirm its you.

I login I listen then at certain points it presents a brief quiz. If you answer wrong 3x you may get locked out and have to start over. Yesterday I spent the day going over module 3 and it kept looping me making me redo Module 3 every time I get to the end of the Module 3 where it prompts you to press continue. It was infuriating! I wasted so much time. It did that to me in module 2 while viewing on my cellphone. (Below is a picture of the window where I could not pass to the next page.) So worried I decided take the weekend to wrap this up on my desktop as I was nervous the software is not acknowledging my review.

Here was my issue. I was in the final Module which was 4 and chapter 2. I decided to login and continue, but one of the questions that it asked me I did not remember so I failed 3 times and they kicked me out the course. I finished about 90% of the course. I couldn't wait to be done as this system is flaky and the security measures they take to verify your account is beyond ridiculous. Its driving course to reduce your auto insurance for God sake, not the SATs or MCATs.

I contacted NYSC (not the gym) and explained that I was blocked. They offered me to do the course over. I told them no because this process is grueling going through the classes that its exhausting and not worth it. They said that is all they can do for me. I asked for a refund and the person on chat would not directly respond. I said now you block me from finishing maybe 6 short vides and your keeping my $30? So I can only IMAGINE how many other people they are ripping off with their policies. This is not right. Your punishing us for not remembering an answer that DOES NOT pertain to the course. You want your money then let me verify with the 40+ plus questions you gave us to verify and continue where we left off. It is wrong of this company to take our money and not let me finish 45 minutes MAX of review when I have finish 4.5ish hours.

So now I must go to an in person class and pay double and you keep my money? Where is the fairness in that.
