I have been using this site for 1-2 yrs now. It's nice to get cash back for purchases you will make anyways online. The cash back are small but it adds up over time.

I love to take photographs.
I was hoping to make some $ on selling photos on FOAP, however, it seems more difficult to make $ than I anticipated. I have participated in several contests, uploaded over 100+ photos, labeled them religiously with hashtags, and rated other FOAP photos (all advice which FOAP gives). Great platform IF you can be discovered by clients, as the site probably has millions of other photos.

Online plant shop. I believe I ordered from this shop twice.
* First order, everything went smooth. I received my plants on time in good condition. Their soil is dense/ heavier and retains more water than I liked/ preferred. Packaging was great. Minimal soil spill.

Then, the pandemic hit, and it seems like their business boomed.

*Second order- I did get my credit card charged, but never received my plants. After several communication, I found out that they misplaced my order... so took 2-3 weeks to receive. They did ended up refunding, but left me bad aftertaste.

Due to the pandemic, I started shopping plants online. They are a reputable plant grower in TX. I have probably ordered 6 or 7 times during the course of 1-1.5 years. Plants are usually grown to a healthy 3" or 4", and they package/send the plants really well with minimal dirt spill. It may be a tad pricier than other sellers, but I am never disappointed by the overall quality of their plants! You can watch Summer Rayne Oakes, Nick Pileggi and Heart Shaped Leaves with Rachel unboxing videos on YouTube. They also have auction site, where price can get crazy:)... but that's due to the plant craze. Request for email notifications for popular plants.

Note to people using the site.
Check the Shipping & Handling (S&H) cost very carefully!
It is extremely expensive, depending on who has posted.

I bid on an item for the first time on site. $9.99 with $3.99 handling. Since the actual item was around 10 pounds, I expected for shipping to be around $10. I found an "estimate shipping" button so I checked after bidding. Because the seller had the shipping weight set for 48 pounds (even though actual weight is 10 pounds, about 5x actual weight), it said shipping and handling will cost $38...

I have asked about shipping cost with (contact seller function), but have not received a response.

It does not make sense for me to pay $40 S&H charge to get this $10 item, even if I were to win the bid. (The bid was ongoing for another 3 days, but this was a total deal breaker.) I understand that Goodwill is for charity... however, I felt that this site wasVERY deceptive.

I've requested to have my account closed. I will not be shopping online from this site.
